It was the ultimate Place, a Hotel inside a fortress, great with more choices than most a mid Evil Fortress. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was abundant and plentiful choices.

Parking is excellent once you understand that you remove and replace the rope yourself. Not a big problem. The reception is approximately 150 metres away in the old town, a straight walk. Again no big deal once you know. I would stay again without hesitation. The view is fantastic. Watch out for early morning ballon rides going by !

I arrived on Thursday, June 18th (4ish pm) After a long walk from the train station (apparently public transportation is very scarce in Rocamadour) to the hotel, the receptionist was very kind and welcoming. We stumbled through our language barrier (she was very patient with me) and I was checked in and on my way. Before I went to my room, I asked if she would schedule a taxi for me back to the train station on by departure day. She was very accomodating. Better yet, the taxi showed up. It's a great hotel, very clean and spacious room. The bathroom was large compared to those in Europe. No air conditioning, which I knew booking, but a fan is provided and keeps the room comfortable. The hotel is a two minute walk to the Sanctuary. If you are taking the train to Rocamadour....do yourself a huge favor and pre-book transportation to town. You'll thank yourself!!

Un hotel un poco especial. Las indicaciones para llegar a la recepción (en un edificio aparte del propio hotel) no eran correctas lo que llevaba a meterse con el coche indebidamente en una calle peatonal. El aparcamiento gratuito es condicional a la disponibilidad y no reservable. El personal MUY ATENTO y colaborativo. La habitación y el baño justitos, muy pequeños, quizá agobiantes. Limpios, eso sí. Para pasar una noche, dormir, ducharse y marcharse, bien, solo bien, ya digo, justito. El desayuno aparte en algo más de 10 euros, correcto pero es un buffet para no tirar cohetes. Reconozco que tuve suerte al disponer del aparcamiento gratuito en las inmediaciones del hotel (en esa ciudad el coche es una locura)

O hotel possui dois prédios. Um que fica dentro da muralha e o outro muito próximo da muralha. Ficamos nesse segundo. Embora tenhamos gostado do nosso quarto porque tinha uma linda vista, confesso que teria gostado mais se tivesse me hospedado na parte de dentro da muralha. Possui estacionamento próprio do hotel que fica na rua desse segundo prédio. O café da manhã é servido em restaurante pertencente ao hotel, localizado em frente ao prédio dentro da muralha.
