Fabulous place to stay

Great B&B with fabulous views over the Adratic Sea. The host was really lovely and helpful. The room was clean, spacious all though not very soundproof. The breakfast was all home cooked and amazing. Easy walk into quaint Town to eat. Thoroughly recommend.

Posto favoloso, terrazza mozzafiato..... Peccato che: recatomi alle 16 00 in agenzia per fare il check in (come indicato di fare) non trovo nessuno, ho aspettato nel parcheggio 45 minuti prima che arrivasse qualcuno (la scusa del ritardo è che il b&b non fa parte dei loro alloggi e che loro sono solo un punto d'appoggio per la signora,quale signora non l'ho capito, perciò non sapevano che arrivavamo). Ci ha accompagnato in b&b e lasciati nel favoloso terrazzo dicendo che a breve sarebbe arrivata la signora.... Dopo più di un ora, arriva una signora che chiede chi siamo e coda facciamo, la avvisiamo che stiamo aspettando che ci consegnano la camera.... Lei allora ci da una camera (molto bella) dicendo che non era stata avvisata (credo dalla signora!) del nostro arrivo e ci porge tante scuse. Al mattino ci alziamo e convinti che in un b&b dessero anche la colazione andiamo a cercare qualcuno che ci dicesse come è dove potessimo fare la colazione, ci viene risposto che il costo non comprende la colazione, allora pago il convenuto e proseguo il viaggio. In seguito, Controllando la descrizione del b&b vedo che da nessuna parte c'è scritto che la colazione è compresa, la domanda mia ora è: ma se la prima b di b&b è bed (letto), la seconda b è basta?

Delicious breakfast, awesome reception

The breakfast was outstanding. The view from the terrace was just awesome. Hosts was very helpful and kind. B&B is just some steps from the center of Peschici, but your are in a quite and calm place. I definetly will stay at Baia Scirocco if I will ever return to this small and frienly town.

Baia Scirocco - Private ideaway close to Peschici

We stayed 4 nights in the very spacious downstairs "blue" room at Baia Scirocco in late September 2011. We went to sleep with the sound of the ocean waves lapping on the rocks far below this b & b. Very private with expansive sea views. Breakfasts on the upstairs sun-drenched terrace were unbelievable - freshly brewed coffee, juice, cereals, yoghurt, croissants, home-baked cake, fruit, hard-boiled eggs, cheeses and cold meats, fresh bread and home made jams; much more than we could eat! Antonella was the perfect host, she was helpful and lively with suggestions of what to do in the area, she also shared the location of her favourite restaurants with us (which we of course followed up on; one of the restaurants we ate at twice!). Our room was serviced daily including changes of bathroom linen during our stay - something that rarely happens at many b & b's we stayed at in Italy. The place is a little hard to find, being on the edge of town and it's about a 15 minute walk into the centre (meaning you have to be reasonably fit to walk up some steps or have a car). We did not find the location a downside as it afforded us considerably privacy and rest after a long flight from the other side of the world. We would highly recommend this place to anyone who want to enjoy friendly hospitality in a private setting.
