Great budget friendly place to stay if your visiting the mountains! Bathrooms were clean, showers well stocked and kerosene heater keep us very warm on the cold night! Bonus the trapper tent had a covered area under the picnic table so you can cook in the rain without getting wet

The tipi was great! Lots of room and the heater made it cozy and warm. The grounds are fantastic! So many little paths to wander and the river is beautiful. Great access to hiking trails and very close to Kananaskis Village. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Stayed in the glamping tent which was amazing! Clean, cozy and had a heater to keep us warm. Lots of hooks and storage and the bedding and towels were great. Where we had some issues was the bathroom. Outhouses near by are smelly and no where to wash hands. 2 showers and 5 sinks for a whole campground of guests isn’t great. Definitely need upgrades in this area. If you come be prepared to share the bathroom with many people.

My biggest regret was that we didn’t stay for more than one night but alas it was a quick vacation trip for us. We loved the remoteness of it and especially no light pollution! Coming from Denver, which is a norm for us, we loved how it was natural outside. The bed was very comfortable. This is on our bucket list to come back for a longer trip.

The trappers tent with a heater for our 2 nights camping trip in a cold night temp is really impressive. The tent held heat much better than I expected, and the heater made a noticeable difference within the first [15–30 minutes]. However, the distance to the washrooms is a drawback. It’s a long walk from many of the campsites, which isn’t ideal for families or anyone who prefers quick access. The washrooms themselves are clean and well kept, but the layout could be more convenient.
