Wedding weekend

We had the most amazing weekend ! Room was very clean and comfortable - great facilities and very convenient for the wedding we were attending at kelham hall. So glad we chose this option to stay at ! Thank you James for a wonderful nights sleep after a very long day ! Great pub next door too !!

Amazing easy check in with locker for keys ample parking next door to a great put easy walk to races even though most is on road colas its a day meeting room is very high standard only wish it was bigger I’d love a bigger room but still great for purpose of visit deffo be back

Very bad experience. After booking and getting confirmation , on the day of stay we recd message from property provider that he has cancelled our booking as room was not good enough. We had to look for other accommodation and it was quiet expensive.I strongly suggest not to book this property

We had a fantastic stay at Rolleston Rooms. Communication was excellent, access was straightforward, the room was clean. The bed was very comfortable. Will definitely be booking here again.

It does what it sets out to be very well. Access arrangements were easy and effective, a code. Sent by text for a numbered key safe, and the property spotless. Plenty of good parking. Room large enough for a short stay and with enough shelving for the purpose. Plenty of power points. Bathroom small but very good and an excellent shower with complimentary body wash etc. The only change we would suggest is that for cold nights, a thicker duvet would be good as even with the extra throws provided, it was still chilly. Instructions and welcoming letter were perfect. Modern style, very clean. In information booklet you can find much about area, where to eat or visit. Also how to use facilities in the property. Tea, coffee and biscuits provided.

Really comfortable room. A bit chilly for the summer and a fan heater was provided but I didn’t set it up as I’m not fond on that kind of dried heat. The duvet was lovely though. The only amenity missing was a small fridge; otherwise perfect.

We stayed in room 2 for 1 night to attend All about Dogs in Newark. The accommodation is in a lovely quiet area but still within a 15 minute drive to restaurants and shops. Room was very clean, bright and generally had a lovely feel to it. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. Lovely little hot drink station in the room which included hot chocolate which I thought was a great touch! It is all self check in/out but I had spoken to owner via text who was lovely, recommending places for us to eat and put out a mat and some bowls for our dog which was great! Plenty of parking spaces too Would definitely stay again, thank you :)

2 minor niggles: Hard to find. The link provided was on in Apple Maps which I don't have. Used the link on Hotels.com email, which put me at the Rolleston sign at the entrance to the village. I asked someone and fortunately they knew. What if I'd turned up in the dark? Thin walls. Had neighbours who came in at 2am and then turned the TV on until 3. Woke up and found it hard to return to sleep as it was quite noisy. Otherwise, was a very nice village with good pubs in each direction, close to Newark, and all very easy. Very new and clean. Nicely put together. Full marks in all other areas. I would use it again. Thank you.

A Gem Of A Place

We booked quite last minute looking for somewhere to stay whilst attending a festival at Newark Showground. Very reasonably priced, great communication, very clean, everything you need, comfortable, great parking. The only thing I would suggest is another way to pay for the "tuck shop" items in addition to the cash option. I would 100% stay here again. Thank you!

Simply wonderful

What a delightful little property. Rooms are lovely and recently refurbished, and beautifully clean. Well stocked tea, coffee & water with complimentary biscuits. The owner was in regular contact before our stay, sent details on how to access the property and was so helpful with tips on local places to eat etc. There was even a little tuck shop with an honesty box for chocolate and cans of drinks. Wonderful experience, wouldn’t hesitate to return or recommend

No fresh towels etc during our 2 night stay.

We stayed for 2 nights and on arrival it was basic but a very clean room & bathroom. We were just disappointed that our room had not been replenished with clean towels or tea/coffee etc. for 2nd day/night. We weren't bothered about the bed not being changed but to return in the evening after our day out to see our dirty towels were still on the bathroom floor from the night before and morning was not nice. I know we could have called and I'm sure the owner would have brought us fresh towels etc. but when you pay a cleaning fee for a 2 night stay, you expect it to be cleaned after our first night and not have to reused damp, used towels etc.
