We arrived late and had a bit of a problem finding the palazzo guardi in the dark. But staff was accommodating and came out to get us. This was our first time in Venice and we were not familiar with the surroundings. Room was clean and centrally located. We were able to enjoy cicchetti for the first time as well as homemade wine - located right around the corner. Breakfast was good. Hotel staff were very nice.

Fantastic location, easy to get to, very quiet. Rooms are beautifully decorated with old style Venetian decor, large rooms with a fantastic breakfast buffet. Close to ferry bus on Grand Canal and lagoon- elevator available for luggage , great a/c and fridge, tv and internet. If I could rate better than a “10”, I would !

Visited Venezia. We are a party of 3 and the room we had was spacious. With a private room for the 3rd person. Bed was comfortable bathroom was spacious too! We loved the breakfast every morning and location is close to everything (station for the water taxi) and Rialto everything is walkable. Will definitely come back.

Nice place to stay although it was the middle of a heat wave and the air conditioning worked but not well enough to cool the room. The staff were very friendly and helpful and nice breakfast.

8/10 Very good

The room was very spacious with a canal view, bathroom also very large. Everything clean. The breakfast was simple but decent. Location very good for us. My main issue was the check in process, it was confusing to be shouted out from several floors up instructions when we arrived to check in - the reception was in a different building to our room but that wasn't explained from the shouting - so I would say that process could be improved upon. Absolutely fine for us to be in a different building to reception, perhaps just give those instructions on email before arrival as opposed to having someone shout them down stairs which we can't really hear properly and means we don't also understand why we are been asked to do something. It didn't put the stay off to a good start and I wouldn't stay again for this reason

Great place to stay in Venice. We booked last minute and the very friendly and helpful staff were able to accommodate our special requests without a problem. Nice area away from the madness of the city centre and close to water taxi. Lift inside the property was very helpful. Highly recommend.
