On the plus side, the property is very convenient to the train station and to Venice attractions. The breakfast was excellent, and the staff were friendly and helpful in every way. The bathroom was clean and modern. The things we disliked were the long stairway leading up to the rooms and reception (no elevator but help was available for carrying bags), and the size of the room, which measured 10x10 feet. It was difficult for two of us to manage to find room to put our things and to navigate the space.

My daughter and I had a fantastic stay for 3 nights. The staff was super friendly, the room was clean with great air conditioning, super fast WiFi, and it was nice and quiet. The breakfast was definitely worth waking up early for. The property is a short walk from the train station and water taxi, and is close to everything we wanted to see in Venice.

Delightful hotel close to Piazzale Roma. I only stayed one night but was very impressed with the entrance way and the overall ambiance. The room decor was classic and the bathroom featured appealing blue tiles. The breakfast area was small, but wasn't crowded, and the offerings and staff were on point. I chose the hotel because I had a noon flight back to the US from Venice after a week in Croatia/Slovenia, intending to use the ATVO express bus and it worked perfectly. Honestly was just looking for a decent place to stay, mimimizing walking distance with luggage, and the Palazzo Ordoni greatly exceeded expectations. Coupled with great afternoon weather, I got the classic Venetian experience on what was originally intended to be a logistical stop on the way home.

Handily-located near the bus station at Piazzale Roma, on a quiet street by a canal. Good restaurants nearby. Our economy room was a bit tired, but met our needs. Common areas were lovely in Venetian style. The small breakfast room was charming and both food and staff made for a pleasurable experience. Be aware that access is up two steep flights of stairs, but staff were willing to help with luggage.

The hotel's main advantage is its 10-minute walk from the Santa Lucía train station. It's located in a fairly quiet area with shops and restaurants practically nearby. Because of its historic location, the hotel has an old-fashioned facade and its rooms have a vintage feel. Access to the hotel grounds is a bit inconvenient due to the numerous stairs, especially with luggage. The service is excellent, and the breakfast was delicious. The hotel is ideal if you're staying for just a few days.

Fabulous hotel! It’s a very convenient 5 minute walk from the main square and easy to find. Lots of steps so not suitable for everyone but we loved it. Rooms were very comfortable and breakfast good although you have to book a slot as there are only about 5 tables. My only criticism was there was no bar to speak of. You could request a drink from reception but the choice was very limited. Staff were excellent. Very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Venice.

Beautiful property and room. The staff was amazing. I will say as it is an old property there are no elevators so if you have heavy luggage or bad knees it is difficult. We knew of this so it did not deter us. The staff was amazing, they even helped with our heavy luggage. They gave us a sweet little to go breakfast because our plane left so early and it was phenomenal.
