Perfect hotel for our honeymoon. The room had a beautiful view to the sea and nearby islands. The breakfast was very complete consisting of multiple small dishes. Everything was high quality, the rooms, the onsen, the lounge area, etc. Most importantly, the staff and the bartender (Kai) were super helpful and welcoming.

We had an excellent stay at Etajimasou. We celebrated my parents' 70th birthday there, and Etajimasou and the staff made it so special from the check-in to check-out. There were a lot of attentions and details for everything we saw and experienced. We are very grateful.

The breakfast was great. Staff was great. Bath was nice. The room was a little less high quality in terms of finishes than I would expect from a place at this price level. And the dinners were quite disappointing relative to the price level and other meals we had with half board at other ryokans/hotels during our stay in Japan. Under seasoned and just not very excellent. Also disappointed that the dinners were French cuisine focused.

Tasty food paired with good views and a short ferry ride from Hiroshima. The staff were very helpful, friendly and professional. They had many amenities and a nice, calm atmosphere perfect for relaxation and a soak in their Onsen. They offered a complimentary ride to and from the ferry, and made sure I made it to the port on time. (Otherwise a 10 minute walk) would recommend to a friend.

A top notch hotel in every aspect - good food, attentive staff, breathtaking view, well maintained onsen facilities, and the most beautiful hotel room Iโ€™ve ever stayed at. We booked the half-board package and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel is located on a tranquil and beautiful island, which is easy to get to from city center. It was unfortunate that we were not able to rent a bike with child seat and had to cancel our plan to cycle on the island. Other than that, everything else was perfect. Iโ€™d highly recommend this hotel to anyone who is visiting Hiroshima.
