The room had an incredible view and the staff were very helpful. The only problem was the elevators not being available for 4 days. I know it rained, but that should not have broken the elevator. We were on the top floor, so whenever we left we had some serious climbing as a reward for deciding to leave the hotel and venture into town. I find it hard to understand how rain would shut down an elevator. That tells me this building is not being maintained properly. They did offer to move us to another wing where the elevator was working , but we would lose our view and King Sized bed, as well as a smaller room. No thanks.

Stayed for 5 nights during our bathroom renovation. Excellentky priced. The room was impeccably clean and comfortable. Bed was very comfortable and maid service every day. Fabulous shower and moderation bathroom. Hotel is a short walk to the port with many bars, restaurants and amenities. Lovely outdoor pool area. Would recommend to anyone looking for a luxurious stay at an affordable price.

Overall nice hotel, good pool area, room was sufficient. 10-15 min. walk to the Paseo or town center. Gym was soooo small—but you can make it work if you are a little creative. We didn't try the breakfast but did have dinner there one day and that was NOT good. Best offer was the pizza, but they brought us one with a RAW egg on it. When I sent it back, I was assured they would "fix it"?? I asked how they would fix it and apparently looked baffled enough, that the very young and inexperienced waitress asked if I preferred them to make a new one, which I confirmed. The pizzas come with what must be a premade base and so-so toppings - it really made us regret we didn't take the 5-10 minute walk to all the great food in town. The receptionist was very nice and spoke impeccable English.

This is by far the worst experience I’ve had at a Windham hotel. The service and overall condition of the room, with the exception of the great reception provided by the person at check in, were really lousy, Since since I got in very late, almost at midnight, I didn’t even bother to ask for a room change, since I was checking out also early. When I got into the room, I felt a strong sewer like smell. After checking, I realized the toilet was the issue, since it was broken. The toilet itself, was not cemented to the ground, and therefore it moved and provided this smell the Room had. The other issue was that the drainw from the sink was also a little bit clogged, since the water ran down very slowly, as well. The The other aspect that was not very pleasant, is that this is the smallest room I have found in a Windham chain hotel. it was really small for any standard. So once again, I was going to give this experience, a score of one over five, but decided to raise it a little bit, because of the good service provided by the person check in.
