Couldn’t fault Ellen Kensington for an overnight stay in London. Location was perfect, just off the main road of Earl Court so easy to get to, yet very quiet. Room was well equipped and clean. The location was excellent for our visit to London, the hotel was clean and beautifully decorated. Our room was spacious for London, clean, comfortable and had good amenities including a coffee machine, toiletries, gowns and slippers. The bed was comfortable, for us a little too soft, however we slept well with quality bedding and the surrounding area was quiet. Breakfast was excellent with good choice and tasteful food. Lovely room, all staff very friendly and helpful! Fabulous location and great amenities. Only issues were the in room heating/AC (hard to use, heating was on blast even when cooling setting was on and temp set to low so room was always really warm), the door lock was very slow to unlock, and the person who checked me in (whilst very lovely and professional) announced my room number - as a solo female traveller it didn’t feel very safe to do so. Overall a fantastic stay and I’ll definitely be back!

The room was great for what we needed, bed and pillows were super comfy, no complaints there with the sleep. Shower great, enough space for me and my partner. Our coffee machine wouldn’t dispense the coffee sadly (could have been a user error) but one thing that was annoying was our floorboards were super squeaky. We felt it would affect the floor below us. We would definitely stay again, no hesitation, but we’ve been unlucky with a minor moan.
