Highly recommend this hotel for a stay in Florence. It's on a busy street, but you can't hear the noise inside. Location was perfect for exploring Florence, and a short walk from the train station. Room was very clean and decent sized. If we ever make it to Florence again, we'll definitely stay here.

Really central, very clean and charming, and friendly staff! For Florence, it's a great price for what you get. They have water filters outside in the hall which is very handy (including with hot water available for tea). They helped us store our bags and fixed our shower right away when the pressure wasn't great. Lovely hotel, wouldn't hesitate to say again. If you're a light sleeper, ask for a room away from the road as it can be noisy in the morning.

We truly enjoyed our visit to Hotel Galileo! Great location and close to Stazione. Taxi service called from hotel is quick and efficient! Close Walk to Mercato Centrale & Galleria de Academia et al. Breakfast was worth paying for in advance or daily. Nice continental display. Bedroom enough size for two. Bathroom was very nice and roomy! Will go there again!

Lovely single night stay for family of four. Staff were lovely and welcoming, breakfast was continental style but everyone ate something. Room was large and the bathroom was well sized with great smelling shower gel and shampoo. Would recommend and revisit again! Handy for the station and a short walk into the city centre.

What a lovely little gem! We stayed here for one night, as we toured Italy as a family of 4. The hotel was close to the Firenze Santa Maria, an easy walk, even with luggage. Close by there were several places to eat, drink and buy essentials. The hotel was beautiful, very clean, spacious and well equipped. Frederica on reception was welcoming, friendly and very helpful. We would strongly recommend this hotel to any visitors to Florence, it is easy to find and surrounded by options. The hotel room was clean, beds comfortable, air con kept us nice and cool in the heat of Italy in August. Bathroom was beautiful, lots of helpful accessories provided. Only small downside was no kettle in the room, but plenty of places near by to buy hot drinks. Great stay, great hotel and lovely city.
