The staff at this hotel were so friendly and accommodating! Djenebou greeted us when we arrived and happily stored our luggage, but all the staff were attentive throughout our stay. We really enjoyed the neighborhood of this hotel - felt less touristy, but plenty of cafes and restaurants. We liked the easy of getting to the metro as well. Breakfast was great, and we liked that it was included in the cost! This hotel did have air conditioning, but it was not as effective as we would have hoped. We were there before the heatwave came, but as Americans, we are very used to being able to turn the temperature pretty low during the summer, especially in the evenings for sleeping. On our final night, our thermostat seemed to turn off in the middle of the night, and did not respond to any buttons we pushed. We learned at another hotel that buildings in France have regulations for how low the temps can be set (to be environmentally-friendly, which is a good thing), so just something to be aware of as a traveler in the summer!
