We had an issue with our room the first night but were moved to a different room the following day and everything was good from then on. Great location, easy check in, rooms are clean neat. Bathroom is large and clean. Staff friendly and easy to get in and out. stairs are steep and narrow so if you are not fit and steady, getting up and down with a bag may be challenging. We didn't mind. Bar across the way is fun, a little loud at night but all part of the experience. Its in the heart of Amsterdam so it was a good part of the experience.
