Unexpected stay in San Diego for work. Very clean, comfortable, excellent service and frendly staff. Want to come back for a longer stay. Loved the decor. Kept elevators as original design i though was great. dinner in the restaurant and the roasted chicken dinner was amazing, drink was delicious. Truly enjoyed my stay. Highly recommend.

This is my new favorite hotel! It’s pristine and everything is absolutely beautiful! My room is extremely comfortable, the bed is a cloud, and the old world charm is a delight. I also love the adjacent French restaurant and their happy hour is amazing! My stay was magical and I highly recommend the hotel and can’t wait to stay again!

Groovy Chic Boutique Hotel Alert!

The hotel is super cool if you enjoy staying in historic properties. I loved the caged elevator as it’s original to the building from 1913, but some people would not. The room i booked only had light from an interior courtyard which made the room dark. With the blinds open i could see in the neighboring rooms, but kept them closed most of the time for privacy reasons. The restaurant in the hotel and the rooftop bar are both fantastic!
