Great hotel value for money, very clean. Great breakfast. In the beginning upon check in the front desk overnight staff could not find my reservation and we had to wait extra time, but overall it was a great hotel for couple of nights, many restaurants around and a metro station. Also, hotel is situatedwalking distance to main attractions such as Louvre and Opera House.

Charming hotel in a really great location

Overall, our stay was lovely. The staff were really friendly, breakfast staff super attentive, the quality of the breakfast was great and the room was comfy. Location couldn’t have been better. Surrounded by restaurants and very near a metro station and gare du nord. I’d say the only thing that needs changing is renovating the rooms. The decor could do with a freshen up and new door handles and keys for the rooms

Had a great stay at Relais du Pre. Easy to find and walk to from Gare du Nord. Friendly, English speaking staff. We arrived early in the morning and they kindly stored our bags for the day till we were able to check in. Rooms are quite basic but clean and had all we needed (except fridge). Breakfast is available for 12 euro but we slept in. Late check out around 11am is helpful. We’d stay again, close to Metro station and great cafes.

Solid little hotel near Gare du Nord

This is a great little hotel that I often use when I am in Paris for a brief period of time. It's walking distance to Gare du Nord, which is very convenient for accessing the airport by train, and the neighborhood has a good amount of international cuisine. The rooms are small and there are tubs with shower heads, not formal showers, so it could be a difficult place for someone with limited mobility. But it's a nice hotel overall and I've always found the staff friendly and helpful.

The cleanliness of the room leaves much to be desired. As you can see in the photo, the toilet was dirty, with stains left by a previous guest. I reported this to reception when I left in the morning and they promised to come and clean it during the day, but although they did come to make the bed, at the end of the day the stains were still there. It's a shame because the room is reasonably comfortable, the reception staff are very friendly and the breakfast is fine. But it is not acceptable for the bathroom to be dirty, and even less so when, after reporting it, they come to clean it and it remains the same.

We stayed one night purely because the hotel is 12 minutes walk from La Gare du Nord for the Eurostar. We arrived late at night and left very early but the same reception staff member was on duty and very helpful. The hotel uses real keys! So no fumbling with cards, which is always stressful when exhausted..

The room was very clean, however, there was an overpowering stench of the drains which meant the room smelt musty. We slept comfortably and with the windows shut didn’t notice much noise outdoors. Although no aircon, the windows on the 4th floor opened wide and a fan was provided in the room making for a comfortable stay during the summer heatwave. The building is a little dated, but it was mostly well-maintained and clean. Was also handy to leave luggage during our first and last day when we didn’t have access to our room. The location and value was the key selling point for us.
