A lovely B&B hotel and base from which to explore Lake Garda and its surrounding towns and villages. We had a luxury lakeside view room which was spacious, had a lovely bathroom and a large balcony. This was lovely to sit on and watch the world go by. It is a little noisy when on the balcony because the mainroad is right outside the hotel, but it's not like a UK main road and traffic flows easily. Many vehicles are EV and being a single lane road, its more like a buzz. The room itself is very clean and there's more than enough storage. We appreciated the blackout curtains, comfy bed, aircon and lovely bathroom. The buffet breakfast each morning is plentiful with a good variety of food stuffs and drink options, with daily rotating fruit and hot breakfast option. Even when we arrived with minutes to spare some mornings, there was always plenty and the staff would provide anything else we wanted. Hotel residents can sit by the outside pool or covered verandah downstairs during day and evening and enjoy drinks, icecream and/or snnacks. The snacks are limited (but good), but there is a delicatessan type supermarket literally over the road so snacks are not a problem. The bus stop going north and south of the lake is literally a 1 minute walk from the hotel, and some of the bars and restaurant on the lakeside can be reach through a very short walk.
The hotel owner and staff are superb, doing all to be helpful ensuring you have a great stay. A genuine gem of a hotel for sure.
