The hotel had a great location close to the Colosseum. It was very walkable and close to public transportation if need be. The staff was friendly and helpful for all of our questions and needs. We really liked it. The AC was nice and cold. The water was nice and hot. It was quiet and clean. It is in a very convenient location, literally around the corner from a metro station. Lots of restaurants, and a few supermarkets (next door). The staff was very nice and friendly. We would gladly stay again.

The Hotel Astoria in Vico Equense was the perfect place to stay. The hotel is cozy, welcoming, and in an excellent location. It’s right next to the train station, making it easy to travel to Sorrento and explore the surrounding area. The hotel has a beautiful view and a lovely terrace where you can sit, relax, and enjoy the scenery. You can also walk around town and find plenty of excellent restaurants just minutes away. The staff was incredibly friendly, and our room was spotless throughout our stay. The daily breakfast was also very good and offered a nice variety to start the day. We decided to rent a small car from the rental agency right next door, and we were able to park behind the hotel for only €10 per night, which was very convenient. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and were able to explore the entire Amalfi Coast from this great location. We would definitely stay here again!

The only thing was when I originally booked I was under the impression would be staying at a different hotel but message received alerting me that I would be staying elsewhere but it wasn’t a problem as was 5 min walk away. The condition of the property left much to be desired. The rooms looked run-down, the bathrooms were outdated, and although the room appeared to be cleaned, it did not feel clean overall. The property looked nothing like the pictures advertised. I have stayed at other hotels in Rome within the same price range and area that were much better maintained and provided a significantly better overall experience. I do have to say that the Staff in the front desk and breakfast were amazing.

The room was ugly with peeling wallpapers. The single chair and window curtains and a cabinet covered with dust. Floor was not cleaned in corners. Bathroom was not cleaned properly with mold in the shower area and plumbing problems. Walls and ceiling in the room and bathroom desperately need painting. There was no water kettle, no teas selection, no cubs or glass in the room. The staff working in the reception very nice and helpful with good English. The elevator is scary, not dependable. When I was booking the room, the photos of the room and bathroom were looking good. Now, I know they were lying. I had only one breakfast in the hotel and it was good. Nothing special, but ok.

This was a great room to stay in, the bathroom had no issues in usage, the room was cleaned daily to a high standard, and I was able to get good sleep at night as the bed was very comfortable. The staff were also helpful in resolving any issues and Christian gave me a wonderful introduction to the hotel and Rome as a whole. He was also helpful when organising check out as he gave me instructions for reaching the coach station to get to the airport. The air conditioning was also good, but rather old fashioned. Although it did cool down the room, I found I needed to put it to the maximum setting and on hotter days it would take 10 minutes or so for the room to cool down. It was also rather loud which meant I couldn't use it at night. There also were some language barriers at times between myself and the staff, which made it harder to communicate certain issues I was having. In addition, it would have been helpful if the bins were emptied daily as well when the daily clean happened. However, these are all minor issues and my stay was very good as a whole, and I would recommend this hotel to others. Ideal distance to a lot of Roman landmarks, in particular the Colosseum which was only a 10-15 minute walk! Also super close to metro and bus stops which made travelling across the city very efficient!

The place was decent and clean, nothing fancy. Breakfast was nice to start the day. They need to get there address changed on Google maps. Driver dropped us off and the actual hotel is still quite a ways up the street.thanks To a gentleman on the street for his help. says it happens all time. walking in the street in the heat dragging luggage wasn't fun.
