Stayed in Copenhagen Downtown Hostel for 3 nights in a room with eight double capsules. The capsules are spacious, bed linen was very clean, and the bed comfortable. The only minus was the dodgy keypad, I had to put my key code three times to get access to the room. Not sure if other people had the same problem. There were four shared showers and four toilets in the corridor where my room was, and they were kept clean. The next door is the hostel's bar, where they serve breakfast. Not sure what it was like as I didn't eat it. Overall a good place to stay when you in Copenhagen.

This is a great place to stay if you want to be in the city centre. There's so many great places to eat and drink while you explore Copenhagen, as well as meeting an amazing diversity of travellers!! The DreamBoks capsules are fantastic, and a great way to have privacy on a budget. All the staff were super friendly and helpful, and the bar has some great deals for drinks! I will absolutely return in the future!!

The bar opposite is VERY NOISY - until 3.30am (on a Thursday night). Noise cancelling headphones over earplugs didn't block the noise. The lift is small, but it works. The staff were happy to help with any problems.

It was convenient to have the check in process completely digital and the keys in an app. The capsule beds were clean and nice with socket, light and AC. The facilities were however a bit dirty and there was only three toilets and one sink for the whole floor to share - and the floor had like 15 rooms. So bathroom/hygiene access could definitely be improved.

The hostel is right in the middle of downtown, with a few bars and a lot of restaurants around it. The window is tight, but if your room is facing the road, it can be quite noisy especially weekend nights. Overall the whole building is clean and secure, as you only use one passcode to enter the building, your floor, and your room. So you don't need to carry any key. However, you need to have your own padlock to lock your stuff under the bunk bed and towel if you don't want to pay to rent their towel. There's enough showers (4 showers) and toilets (3 toilets) per floor if it's not busy in the morning, so it should be manageable.

Brilliant location, onsite bar was great. The keyless system was overly complex to get set up and the app did not work, but we were given a manual code to use instead and that was fine. On our floor there were only three toilets so ended up queuing during the morning rush. However there was a sink in the room. Room was clean, and they offered activities to get involved in. I would stay here again!

The location was excellent. The value was likely reasonable considering the high costs in Copenhagen. Having only one sink for an entire floor of residents is poor design. I lowered my score to reflect that having only one sink for maybe 50 people per floor isn’t sufficient for a shared space. I was content with my stay and appreciate the friendly staff.

Very good central location to a lot of buses and trains. I slept in a double pod. There’s no storage available in rooms. You have to pay to use lockers daily. Although it is clean, this property doesn’t have a separate lounge outside it’s bar/restaurant. It’s nice and quiet during the day but if you’re just trying to relax or get some work done at night, it can get loud.
