Great location in Chiang Mai, within walking distance to the temples & a number of great bars & restaurants. The night market is also within walking distance. We had a pool access room which was great. The reason for 4 stars is the air conditioning in the room was exceptionally loud (so much so we couldn’t sleep with it on) & we found the bed / pillows were not as comfy as previous places we have stayed. I would recommend for the location & facilities & I would stay again.

This was one of our favorite properties we stayed at during our two week trip. Being able to walk right out from the hotel into the Sunday Walking Street was a dream, yet somehow still being protected from the busy sound of the night market. The U Chiang Mai is one excellent hotel. Breakfast was amazing, great service and friendly staff. The rooms are nice, comfortable and cold and you have to opt for the swim-up to your room option. I could not be any happier with my stay!
