My family enjoyed our stay here. It was off the beaten path and much quieter than staying in downtown Niagara. Short drive to the Falls and downtown Niagara on the Lake. The staff was super nice and the kids loved the ice cream and candy selection in the main office. Playground and pool were fun for the kids (but very cold water). The cottage though small was clean but needed a few things. For example, the sponge and scrub brush in the kitchen were used. Putting a clean sponge for each guest would be more hygienic. Also, not having towels, sheets, and blankets was super inconvenient for us as we flew from Florida. We did buy some at Walmart but it was wasteful and we had to be careful not to dirty them because we didn’t want to pay to do laundry daily (but it was nice to have a laundry room in the resort for $3 per load). It was nice having a kitchen but a strainer and cooking sheet were missing so cooking was hard. Having a separate bedroom from the kids was great. The beds were not great but mostly because we didn’t have proper bedding.
Overall, I think this is the best place to stay for the area if you have a small family, want a clean place that’s not expensive, and prefer a quiet environment rather than the loud downtown. It’s like camping! You just have to be really prepared with linens of all kinds before staying.
