All the staff were very kind and supportive throughout our stay, which we truly appreciated. However, the rooms are showing clear signs of age. Of the two rooms we booked, one had a strong cigarette smell despite our request for a non-smoking room. The other had quite worn furniture, a TV that was not working, and wallpaper peeling off the walls. Overall, considering the price, the condition of the rooms did not meet expectations.

The location is good, near to a lot of late-night eating spots. The room and toilet is quite big for Japan standards, it's closer to a Western hotel room size. I like the fact that the room temperature is individually controlled so I can choose to turn on the air-con despite it being cold outside. There is also a water dispensing machine on every level and a massage chair in the "social room" on the 13th floor. The staff I talked to all speak English very well. Particularly, a friendly female staff was nice enough to allow me late checkout till 1pm for no extra charge, a simple gesture that makes me want to stay there again.
