Only one volleyballfield, which is not enough for the amount of guests. Music endend 11:30 pm and after that there was total silence in the bar. No more entertainment at all after that. Loungers at the beach cost extra money per day, because the hotel has none at the beach. Food was good and the pool was nice.

We stayed in Jan 2025 with the StarPrestige package. The room was just an average room. The ocean biew was nice, but the sun was very intense on the balcony for the first half of the day so it was hard to enjoy for too long. This resort has just one restaurant- the buffet. There is a limited menu of food at the bowling bar, but we found the food options very limited. At the Iberostar where we stay in Mexico, there are 5 restaurants to choose from, so having just the buffet for dinner was pretty disappointing. I’m confused about the reviews that rave about the food here. It’s lackluster at best. The place is clean - housekeeping did a great job and includes turndown service, which was nice. The StarPrestige pool area was quiet - almost too quiet. We didn’t hang out there much as we found it a bit boring. So if you’re into that, you’ll find it perfect. We used the bowling alley a couple of times. The bowling bar is an adorable little gem to bust the boredom of the resort as a whole with air hockey and billiards - even though the games cost money to play even with the Prestige package. We found it odd that there is only one bathroom in the entire resort? If there was more than 1, we couldn’t find it. If we had to go, we walked all the way to our room. Even the StarPrestige private lounge didn’t have toilets. Everyone was friendly enough, but when compared to other Iberostars we’ve stayed at, we were disappointed as a whole.

I booked this hotel based on the reviews I read and considering those and that it is supposedly rated 4 stars, I was disappointed... lets start with the bad: 1. Longer than necessary wait to check in 2. Expedia gold member - all they provided was a bottle of wine and I don't drink. 3. No stock in mini bar - everything must be paid and pre-ordered 4.No water in rooms - they have water stations around the hotel, but taste was not great and for safety I prefer sealed bottled water 5. No tea or coffee facilities in room 6. No Ironing facilities in room 7. No room service 8. Terribly uncomfortable beds and one of our beds was broken when we arrived and we had to wait an hour for someone to come and repair it 9. Terrible pillows and again a long wait to get more 10. The spare sofa bed for my 15 year old, almost 6 foot, 80 kg son was inadequate and hard as a rock - if you are 3 ask for an extra bed! The good: 1. Very well kept grounds and good cleaning 2. Good variety of food but only one restaurant besides the Tapas bar so it gets busy - go early when they open! 3. We had a sea view room - even though only on the first floor - stunning views! 4. There is a laundry at the hotel (newly opened) and cleaning products / use and ironing facilities for free - but only one washer / dryer 5. You can not buy any canned drinks from the hotel or shop in the hotel, you need to walk to the Spar, around 15/20 min walk away, so not bad, or 5 min taxi into Jandia (around 6 or 7 Euro - book at rec)

The hotel is perfect, the Rooms are big, clean and comfortable. The food is delicious you have many many options so for sure you will always find something to eat and the service is exceptional, ALL persons who work there are unbelievable nice and supportive. The location is also perfect, in one of the most big and beautiful beaches there.

Really dissapointing experience. Great location, very friendly staff, comfortable and clean rooms but the food was awful. Really terrible food. We went all inclusive and it was such a mistake because we really struggled with the food. It all had to do witht the quality of the ingredients, you can tell they are cutting corners with the food. They desperately need a good chef and to invest more in sourcing better quality ingredients. Also, there is no room service or any other payed alternative onsite so you are stuck with the cheap buffet. That basically ruined the whole experience for us. Also the lifts are very outdated and small and some of the hotel infrastructure really needs a makeover. The large pools were really cold so we could not use them. The towels could only be exchanged until 1:30 p.m. which made no sense whatsoever. A special recognition to Olga, the lady that works at the restaurants, she was very friendly and welcoming. Entretainment for children was great, and my daughter really liked Starky.

Excellent séjour dans cet hôtel au Sud de l’île très bien placé (proche ville pour départ excursions et shopping). L’option STAR PRESTIGE apporte vraiment un plus. Très belles chambres la notre vue mer était wahou, piscine et jacuzzi à débordement vue en surplomb sur l’océan vaut vraiment le coût (partie réservée SP et adultes et bien au calme avec des transats bien larges). Bar à notre disposition bien équipé en self service mais du personnel passe régulièrement pour proposer des boissons des en-cas … L’hôtel est bien rénové dans de jolis tons. Les repas sont variés et de qualité très correcte. On trouve toujours à se faire plaisir. Plusieurs bars et les boissons sont de très bonnes qualités et le personnel ne regarde pas aux quantités. Les animations sont correctes mais pas de très haute qualité mais on passe un bon moment dans l’ensemble. Les tous petits points négatifs : les couverts sont souvent mal nettoyés et la paella n’est pas à la hauteur moi qui adore ça et le français n’est pas parlé par le personnel.

Das Hotel ist insgesamt schön und das Personal freundlich. Das Essen war lecker und abwechslungsreich, auch die Getränke waren gut. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die hervorragende Lage – wirklich traumhaft. Was jedoch mehr als negativ aufgefallen ist: Während unseres Aufenthalts im April wurde eine Bar renoviert (die Arbeiten dauern wohl noch bis Mitte/Ende Juni 2026 an). Darüber wurden wir weder vom Hotel noch von Expedia informiert. Der Lärm am Pool sowie im gesamten Außenbereich war extrem störend – an Entspannung war kaum bis gar nicht zu denken. Abrissarbeiten und Presslufthämmer liefen täglich bis etwa 18 Uhr. Hier hätte ich einen deutlich transparenteren Umgang erwartet. Unter diesen Umständen hätten wir die Reise definitiv nicht angetreten. Dadurch hat das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis für uns nicht gestimmt. Dass Renovierungsarbeiten stattfinden, ist grundsätzlich nachvollziehbar. Allerdings muss sich so etwas entweder deutlich im Preis widerspiegeln oder dem Gast vor der Buchung transparent mitgeteilt werden, damit man selbst entscheiden kann, ob man die Einschränkungen in Kauf nehmen möchte. Ohne diese Baustelle hätten wir den Aufenthalt mit Sicherheit deutlich besser bewertet. Ob ein erneuter Aufenthalt für uns infrage kommt, werden wir sehen.

Parfait, top qualité

Excellent séjour, personnel très aimable et attentionné (en particulier les jeunes à la réception), adorable attention pour mon anniversaire, très belle plage, animateurs sympas et dynamiques (bravo pour leur spectacle Grease et Greatest Showman), repas au top, piscine rafraîchissante et très agréable. C'était notre première fois à Iberostar, nous retenons pour nos prochains séjours !
