I've never written a review before but this place warrants the praise. We very much enjoyed our family trip at this location, friendly staff, right on the beach, great amenities and extremely clean. It's an older establishment but its completely maintained and well kept. I would not hesitate to stay here again, especially because it is reasonably priced.

We had a great stay! We’ve stayed here before and it’s been amazing both times. My only complaints would be no TV in the bedroom we stayed in and the blinds in that room were broke and didn’t work great but we were able to make both work just fine. Office staff is super friendly and helpful!

Gorgeous oceanfront views and clean room!

Clean hotel with amazing oceanfront views and walk to the beach. Perfect for our family with teens. Outdated but didn’t affect our stay. Great staff that got us checked in while we were still driving. Only downfall was no elevator, would definitely stay here again.

Had a great time at the Rockaway Beach Resort. We stayed at the first floor with a fantastic view of the ocean. It felt like we are right in the middle of the ocean. We watched Disney+ (caame in the hotel TV) and sipped hot chocolate in the evenings. Kitchen facility was great one start deducted as I found a couple of bowls with some gross dirt (I am hoping the slimy thing was just dirt mixed with soap). Anyway, the hotel room was clean and cozy with plenty of spots to hang out, dine and sleep. It was very pet friendly with pet bowls, owels and treats too! Hot cocoa, coffer, cream, sugar, everything was available.

Cute little property - great location!

We came for a Father's Day weekend trip. It's very convenient to everything in Rockaway, and the rooms are ocean facing with incredible views. The rooms are very dated, but also, very clean. Don't expect luxury, but everything is comfortable and you can't beat the views.

Amazing Beach Access

The check in staff were super friendly and welcoming. They have a wide variety of movies on DVD and board games to borrow. Overall the place has a laid back, comfortable feel. The decor is a bit outdated but it’s clean. The location and views of the beach are amazing. Would definitely stay here again.

Fabulous Coastal Stay!

We only stayed one night at Rockaway and upon checkin immediately wished it was a longer visit! The staff in the office were so friendly, our room was huge, and you can’t beat the views and beach access! The only thing we wish we would have had was another fan, but no extra ones were available in the office (one was provided, but with using the bedroom plus Murphy bed in living area we would have put one in each space). While we didn’t use it being there only one night, it was so great to see options to checkout board games and DVDs in the office to make stays more enjoyable for downtime. Lovely area and would stay here again in a heartbeat.
