One of the Worst in Earl's Court

When I made the reservation, I was more concerned the location and failed to spend much time with the previous guest comments. Don't make the same mistake: lots of steep stairs, foul smelling bathroom, hungry bedbugs (or their relatives), no soap (for shower), all-black rooms, front desk not manned 24/7. The Wi-Fi and TV were OK.

Hotel has a bad bed bug and cockroach problem. If I could have scored zero - I would have. There is no safety here as homeless people sleep in the lobby and the locks on the door are flimsy at best - the handles are totally broken too. Stains on floor, bedding and walls -Avoid. Hotels.com should not be advertising this hotel- it’s unsafe and infested.

Not worth the overpriced room

Beds were extremely uncomfortable, and the overall condition of the room was poor. The shower was broken, and there were numerous stains on the carpet and walls. It was impossible to reach anyone through the contact phone number. I was fortunate that two other guests happened to open the main entrance at night, as the access code I was initially given was incorrect.

This establishment is close to everything, especially the train station, accessible to everything, like restaurant and grocery you won't be hassled. Good to stay here.

I don’t usually do reviews but had to for this one. Well, where do I start. If you like the smell of sewerage and filth, showers that don’t drain water, and no one to meet you at reception then this hotel is highly recommended.

It is a okay place to stay on a budget. The location made it easy to get around the London.

Best price but get what you pay

Our stay was good, we had some flat hard pillows but fell a sleep pretty fast until the neighbors showed up. They were up till 230am. We expected the rest like small shower and no wifi. We had two empty bottles of gin in the drawer. We didnt want to bother sense it was a single single night. The sink had two shirt tags in the drain and i got them out when we first ran the sink. The shelves in the bathroom were offset not even secured at all. The out side was littered with cig butts. The tv wasnt connected to wifi.

Would not recommend

Room was downstairs in the basement no windows to open. Picture of the hotel are misleading it is not a true reflection of the room. No one in reception door handle hanging off which left me feeling very unsafe all night. Single bed with a dip in the middle. Pillow flatter than a pancake poor night sleep. Would not recommend

Great location right next to Earls Court Station. Only negative is it's 5 stories with no elevator. Staff member was super helpful.

Needs a refurb.

Good location, friendly reception. Room No.2 Ground Floor. Bathroom clean and adequate. Bedroom clean but requires a major refurb, the bed mattress was very poor and uncomfortable. We needed a hotel on a budget this was just about ok.

Cheap hotel

The room had no heating and was cold. A friendly guy on reception tried to help, but had already given the only heater to another guest.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!! Left minutes after checking in and went to a different hotel. Worst experience with hotel ever. Building was dark and dingy, door on room wasn’t attached to door properly, broken window in room covered with tape, shared patio door didn’t securely close. Broken glass shelves in bathroom - shower was visibly dirty. Room must have been 30 degrees and had a broken fan. DO NOT STAY HERE! Room was non-refundable and probably because no-one stays. Did not feel safe to leave belongings there unattended or to stay longer than the 5 minutes we took to book a different hotel.

Disappointed

A bit disappointed the room was advertised as having a queen bed and a single, with and en suite. We got there and room was on the 4th floor (no lift but the staff helped with luggage) we had a small double bed and a single (that the middle had a big dip in). The bathroom was practically a walk in cupboard and smelt foul (the smell was coming from the drainage). We complained about all the issues to be informed that we were unable to be moved due to being fully booked with no mention of a discount or partial refund. (This had nothing to do with the staff at the building thay at to contact management who told them this.) The staff were extremely helpful otherwise and we can't fault them.

Hotel Horror- zero stars!

Ours was a cramped room on the fourth floor. There was no lift in the building and with no air-con the room was like an oven. The walls which were all painted black were chipped, scuffed and grubby. There was one window jammed dangerously open, partially covered by a broken roller blind which kept falling down at the slightest touch. The room was permeated by a rank, musty smell which got stronger over time. Possibly coming from damp from the mouldy shower curtain and/or the toilet. The lock to the door was held on by one screw, the others had come undone, making the room dangerously insecure. There were no toiletries except for hand-wash and toilet roll and only two towels in total for 2 people sharing, and no bath mat. The bed linen seemed clean but there were only two pillows, one smaller than the other. A small table was the only flat surface that just about fitted the kettle. There was one plastic chair, no drawers, and a foot long clothes rail with two hangers. There was nowhere to put anyhjng down. The single glass shelf in the bathroom was almost falling off the wall. There were no toilet roll holders, the sink was on top of the toilet cistern and the toilet seat wouldn’t stay up as the width of the cistern and flush button prevented it. I absolutely would not recommend this hotel to any one in fact when we got back from our dinner our room neighbours were moving out as they couldn't bear to stay any longer. A night to remember, for all the wrong reasons! AVOID!

Nothing was good except for the hotel's location! They expected me to go through the 5-day stay with just one towel and one roll of toilet paper. There was no heating, and they never took anything we said seriously. They just sold the room and disappeared.

Not what I expected Hotel

The walls are painted in Black. No staff to ask. The door locks got jammed and cannot call anyone. Scary in terms of an emergency..

This hotel has no staff and you are expected to check in online before arrival. I came with my family; we found the room and corridors dirty, the bathroom was covered in damp and mould. WiFi did not work. Quite the worst hotel I have used in London in 30 years of visiting the city.
