Stayed here when we went to MadCool festival. Very nice hotel with lots of good places to eat within walking distance. My only criticism is that the cleaners scraped the beds around the rooms early in the mornings and even with ear plugs they woke us up.

Fabulous hotel in a superb location. We never needed the metro. Everywhere we go is practically a walking distance. Helpful staff. Good breakfast. Comfortable rooms. My only negative is the shower - it is impossible to keep a steady temperature, either too hot or too cold.

We traveled with a baby and an 8 year old, the family room had 4 twins with two pushed together which was great for baby to sleep in the middle. Location was good, easy walk from Plaza Mayor. Restaurants, grocery, hop on bus nearby. Pool was nice and rooftop was beautiful. Breakfast was great, we did ala cart it was $14 a day, coffee was $2 if you just want that. Quiet, clean and great staff with awesome recommendations for sightseeing.

The breakfast included a good variety of options. The fresh fruit in the heat of Madrids August summer was a welcome treat with watermelon, melon, pineapple and oranges every morning. If you like pastries or a cooked breakfast or eggs, bacon and more. There was a good selection of bread and more.

Great facilities, very clean and really helpful staff. Breakfast was excellent, loads of choice and nice to have the bar there. Rooms had everything you needed for a few nights and the housekeeping team did a brilliant job! The sun terrace and pool are smaller than then look - the space filled up quickly with limited shade available. Looked like a nice space though. Great location, easy walk to lots of local sites, shops and places to eat. Would stay again!

We had a fantastic stay at Ganivet. We arrived very early, and yet they gave us a room instantly. When we needed an extra bed for the baby, they gave us right away. The hotel was clean and nice with all you can imagine and we loved the tanning and pool area on the top, giving an excellent view of Madrid. The hotel is perfectly located within a 15 minute walk to most attractions and the metro is right around the corner! Would definitely stay again!
