The room had an incredible view, breakfast was lovely and the young waiter at breakfast was kind and considerate. However, sadly, everything else was poor. You are paying only for the view when you go for this hotel. At the cost per night, you would expect cleanliness and great service. Unfortunately our welcome was practically non existent, as was the goodbye. The cleaners did not clean the room even when asked multiple times and when “cleaned” on only one out of 4 nights, it was basic. Towels and sheets all stained, shower with (not ours) hair all over. The lighting in the room was also non existent, you can barely see anything when it turns dark - the one lamp in the room had a fused bulb.
So book this room and hotel for an incredible view, but don’t expect the service you usually would in a place where you’re spending approx £200 a night.
