This was the best place we stayed in our 2 week journey, but unfortunately, we were only there for one night. And we left so early that we couldn't even enjoy the included breakfast, though it smelled heavenly as we ran out to the train station. (Which is less than a 10 minute walk, by the way.) There were four of us, and they had us set up when we arrived. The gentleman who checked us in was so kind! And don't be scared when you first arrive and see the spiral staircase: there is an elevator to the 4th floor! AC and wifi both worked great, and the beds were SO comfy. I will definitely look at another stay at Donna Francesca when we return to Rome. On a side note: there is an incredible Chinese restaurant just a few steps away, in case you're ready for something aside from pasta and pizza after 2 weeks. Zomwa, also listed as China Garden. Give them a try if you're up for it. The food and service were both amazing.

The breakfast menu was very nice. We enjoyed it every morning. We did not use the kitchenette, but that was our choice. The room was cleaned daily and the staff did an excellent job. We also got clean towels. The bathroom had a heated floor and heated towel rack, both of which we loved! The staff called a taxi for us twice also. They were very kind and accommodating! I highly recommend this Hotel. It is an easy walking distance of almost all of the sites you would wa t to see on the main part of Rome!!
