1.The new look of the bldg is impressive inside and out. Your employee GHEE is a definite keeper. Explains everything clearly and is very sweet.
2.Now to the nitty gritty: The Room. For the money a big disappointment. Room is small. No bathrobes??? Bathroom very basic and tiny. No proper soap. The linens are SUBERB as all Hilton linens are.
Dinner last night at restaurant was VG and our server Kim was great.
Breakfast is a joke! It is near 8 and we are the only people in the restaurant. People rightfully think it’s a ripoff…I had a small bowl of berries: pineapple, grapes and few blueberries: not berries, and 1 slice of challah bread for $20??? This is a highway stop.most people want to grab a bite and leave. This concept should be rethought.
3. If this a doggy hotel your guest should know better when taking their dogs out. They should have ….bags and not have their dog enjoy the floor in the lobby. Therefore dog baggies should be available.
4. We love this stop. Have been coming through here for years. Next year…another stop ie unless this beautiful hotel is upgraded to the 9.2 standard it claims and the high price is warranted.
