A great hotel in an amazing location overlooking the lake. The rooms were perhaps a touch dated but the whole hotel was spotlessly clean and the staff were all very helpful. They have their own parking a few minutes walk away (at a cost, but cheaper then anywhere else) which was a big bonus too. Good breakfast and the rooms were serviced daily. Great value for money and we'd definitely stay there again.

The hotel is in the perfect location right in the centre of the town, great for visiting the area. Also located within minutes walk from the ferry. The hotel itself is quite tired and in need of updating and modernising. We also had no soap / shower gel / shampoo within our room, I’m not sure if this is normal but a bathroom without soap is concerning.

We enjoyed our stay at this older, but well maintained hotel. It is located lakefront right by the ferry docks which makes it very convenient for those with limited mobility and for those with luggage and don’t want to struggle with it on the cobblestone streets. It also has an elevator/ lift. Despite the location near the docks, we were never disturbed at all by noise. The hotel has air conditioning and a lovely breakfast. The staff is wonderful - always pleasant and most accommodating. We enjoyed the selection of restaurants close by, as well.

In the centre of Malcesine which makes it very convenient but also quite loud from the street and square crowds. Lovely view from our balcony and fantastic to be able to swim right from the hotel’s terrace. Other hotels are more suitable for small kids but and longer status but with our teenagers and for a short stay it was great. Too bad breakfast must be eaten indoors. Recommend this place

Excellent location, staff were friendly, room was quite small. Wall were very thin, we could hear everything the neighbours were doing. It was supposed to be a side lake view, but there was a huge tree blocking line of sight.

Everything was good, and the staff was very helpful when asked. The one surprising fault was that the coffee from the machines during breakfast was really bad. It's ground fresh, but the milk substitute tastes terrible. Truly the worst I've had in Italy so far. I've had very good coffee from machines in other countries in Europe.

Breakfast was limited and poor quality. The beds were not very comfortable and the hotel interior is dated. However, it is in a great location in Malcesine old town, right next to the dock, and our room had lovely views over Lake Garda from our balcony. It was also reasonably priced.

This is a lovely hotel and in a prime location. I was here on a solo trip for 4 days. it took me two bus journeys to get here including airport bus from Verona airport. But it is very easy to find and is a few minutes walk from bus stops, ferry ports and cable car. The room I was in was small but clean, very basic and dated but as a solo traveller I didnt mind. No hot drink facilities in the room and very small TV with no digital channels. Not a huge problem but can see why it would for most people. The towels in the bathroom are very very thin and frayed - I thought they were pillow cases. The walls too are very thin and could hear the people in the room next to me snoring and chatting quietly. But bed very clean and comfortable. The hotel offers basic breakfast which is ok, hot eggs, bacon and sausages, cold continental and pastries, coffee machine wasn’t that great but did enjoy the English breakfast teas. The hotel also offers 10% discount at the restaurant which I have to say is stunning and was shocked it wasn’t fully booked every night. You’re basically paying for the location but the food is lovely. Would recommend the seafood spaghetti. Was surprised to see a waiter serving with a hoodie on with the hood up, but all staff are so so lovely and extremely helpful. If you’re travelling here alone you will have no worries.

The hotel itself is looking a bit tired in the bedrooms but as you are out of the hotel during the day it really didn’t matter to us. For a 3 star hotel, this is top tier. Everything you need, closest to the lake you'll get and the bed has so far been the best during my Italy trip. It is a bit dated, but that's expected and acceptable. The price is moreso the luxury of proximity than facilities. The breakfast was as good as a 5 star hotel. Would go here again if in Malcesine.

Fantastic Stay

We had a fantastic stay here, the staff across the hotel are absolutely fantastic, always friendly and Super helpful a true credit to the hotel. The hotel is in a perfect location, close to everything around the town and right on the lake, the food for breakfast has enough choice as to not be too much. The room we stayed in (324) was a pretty standard size room with a great view of the cobblestone streets below, easy to watch the world go by. The bathroom was to be fair very small (especially for a bigger guy like me) but how long do you want to spend in the bathroom whilst you are away?!? I would highly recommend this hotel. Many thank yous to the staff that also organised a bottle of wine (which was very nice) in our hotel room when we arrived and a printed card as we were there to celebrate our wedding anniversary 😊
