Beautiful hotel secluded street which was nice! Very quiet. Room was very clean however if you want a normal size shower you won’t have it there. It was VERY TINY! Barely can bend down if you drop your soap! And I’m not a big person to say the least. But the water pressure etc was great! Awesome staff in the restaurant! Reception Desk staff very helpful too! All in all it’s a good place.

Excellent Staff, need upgrades.

The first night they gave us a room without working AC, apparently there was a problem in 10 rooms, mine being one of them. The manager told me he was going to write an email to Hotels.com in order to compensate that night. Haven’t heard from him since or Hotels.com. The next day they gave us a room with working AC. The staff is the best part of the hotel, very welcoming and friendly. But the hotels is old, well taken care and clean, but the bed was very firm, the tub could use and upgrade, the linen and towels need to be changed, and the pillows are a joke, I’ve never seen pillows so thin and useless.

I would highly recommend Kolbe Hotel if you are looking to visit the ancient parts of Rome. It is centrally located and convenient to bus lines. We had a great room looking onto the courtyard in back. The staff is wonderful and everyone we meet spoke English. They are very knowledgeable of the area and the easiest way to get to various sites.

The property is right next to The Roman Forum and our room had a great view. The hotel itself is very nice and clean. Our room was very small but that was expected based on other reviews. The pillows on the bed were terrible. They are flat and hard and don’t flex at all.

We had an amazing outstanding experience at Kolbe hotel. We had our 11 months old who got sick during the stay. They were very thoughtful and kind to provide anything we needed. Breakfast was great and dinner & bar foods were delicious. They even prepared my baby’s crib, changing table and toys. Cannot thank enough. Will definitely be back! Highly recommended for family.
