I was very pleased with the hotel. They did not have an ada room available, if they just put a couple grabs bars in the br I could have taken a shower. Not sure what the welcome gift was that you mentioned, don’t think we got any. Breakfast was nice, the lady in charge was very pleasant

It is an ok place

The staff is good, but the place really needs an upgrade. The carpets are old and there is a smell when we walked into the room. They do not provide hypo allergenic sheets or pillows, so people with allergy need to be careful. Lastly, their breakfast is not good, however there is a Mexican restaurant next door. In summary for the price I really expected better!

Overall my stay at the Morgan hotel was very disappointing. We went down to San Simeon to visit the Hearst Castle. I will say on one positive note, that the all the staff we spoke with throughout our stay were very nice. With that being said, pretty much everything else about the stay at the Morgan Hotel was a let down.
