Breakfast was lovely fresh and warm. Bedroom was very old fashioned and the bathroom was clean but needs updating as shower wasn't great. Carpark was run down but safe to park in. Down stairs reception, restaurant was beautiful. Staff was very helpful and friendly.

2/10 Poor

Directions to 'find' the car park would have been useful, and access to the hotel (reception) seemed limited to just one door. Staff were all very pleasant & helpful. My stay was good value for money. I will stay again. PS By daylight, the carpet by the window ( good view of St James Minster) was worn!

8/10 Very good

Great location in the town overlooking the green outside Grimsby Minster a few minutes walk from train station, buses, shops etc - on site parking was massive bonus charged at £3 for our 3 day stay. Car park entrance is at the back of the building and sat nav takes you to the front which has no vehicle access so good to use google maps to find the car park entrance (its adjacent to the shopping center multi storey car park). Breakfast was great with good choice of self serve buffet or hot food. Friendly staff. Only negatives were that room was a little tired looking and windows didn't open so room was very warm and a bit stuffy. I found the mattress to be hard but this could be personal choice.
