We had a truly lovely stay at Hotel Condor. We stayed for 4 nights. We had a sea view room which is a must. The room was cleaned daily and the breakfast available on the terrace was nice albeit we opted for coffees most mornings and ate at a nearby restaurant or bought breakfast bits from the Coop. Speaking of which we found the Coop incredibly useful - it’s 2 mins down the street which you need to walk past to enter the main area of bars and restaurants and the Main Street - via Umberto- which is also just 2-3 mins walk away. The staff were very helpful and if you’re driving they park your car for you in a secure car park up the street and they collect it for you when you need it between 7am and 11pm although they can do before or after with forewarning. It costs 25 euros a day so just be aware. Overall we think the location / close proximity to the main bars and restaurant area, and the sea view room are the standout for us. It proved a perfect spot for the price. Would recommend for a short stay.

Perfect hotel to explore Taormina by foot; 3-5 minute walk to town, there is a small grocery store on the way for essentials. The views from the room were amazing, just like the pictures. They have a nice breakfast on the upper with seating on an outdoor patio. There is nothing like drinking freshly made espresso or Cappuccino and eating fresh Italian pastries while overlooking the Ionian Sea. We had a car for day trips and they chauffeur and park for 20 euros a day, money well spent. I thought this hotel was an exceptional value for the price, I will be back.

The hotel was beautiful and very well placed for our stroll into the centre of Taormina. We arrived at 2am after a flight delay, but check in was quick and easy. The view from our room was just stunning, and we had a lovely little balcony. The breakfast area had the most amazing views also, and a good choice of food. The breakfast ladies were so lovely too! The only negative about the hotel was the shower. We had to run the water for a long time before it became warm, and the pressure was very weak, but it didn't spoil our stay at all

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay for 2 nights and wish we had spent all 4 nights in Taormina there. The 2 bedroom unit was spacious, clean and well laid out. The staff went above and beyond to meet our every need when we had a few special requests. The location is also great--walkable to all the main sites and restaurants, but set apart on a quite street. There was an ocean view from the terrace and the breakfast food was excellent. The price is also very reasonable considering the high prices in this city. We highly recommend staying here, and would do so again.

Large clean bright room with a view of the sea. Excellent breakfast with lots to choose from on a sunny terrace overlooking the sea. It's a few hundred metres out of the centre of Taormina which makes it very quiet at night. Also a few steps to the start of the mountain path to Castellamora. They parked the car off-site for €20 a day.
