Our stay was absolutely exceptional! From the moment we arrived, we loved the cozy and comfortable atmosphere—it’s truly a perfect spot for families. The view from our room was bohemian. The breakfast was wonderful, offering a great start to the day. Plus, the location couldn't be better; it’s just two steps from the bus station, making it incredibly easy to get into Amsterdam.( 314 directly to Central). We will absolutely be coming back. Well done to the team!"

Great stay in Edam

Great location. Our room was downstairs which only had a small window close to the ceiling but had a nice poster to make it look like we had a view, which was nice. Nice modern room with fridge and nice bathroom. Loved the breakfast and the friendly staff. Public car park was very close and free. Would definitely stay again.

The Hotel was ok but is 30 mins away from Amsterdam city centre. No staff to speak with make sure you have internet on your phone when you get to the front door because is self check in with instructions that were emailed. No elevator only stairs in case that you go with heavy luggage.

We were in the Luxury Quadruple Room at the top of the building. It was an almost ideal space for two adults and two kids. There are two large areas within the room - the twin beds are at the far end down a few steps which creates a separate space perfect for kids. It would be even better if there was a curtain to separate the spaces once kids go to sleep, to allow adults to keep lights on and move around without disturbing them. However, what significantly detracted from our stay was the significant (1m x 50cm at least) black mould patch on the ceiling in the bathroom around the extraction fan. This was inexcusable in my opinion given the extent of the mould and the low height of the ceiling. If we had been staying for more than one night, and had there been a reception to engage with, we would have raised this during our stay. I did leave feedback on checkout but had no response. The staff at breakfast were friendly, polite and helpful. Breakfast was continental; meat, cheese, pastries, bread, yoghurt. There was a small bowl of berries and chopped banana for each person. More fruit would have been preferable. Had it not been for the black mould, I would recommend the hotel wholeheartedly, but the severe lack of maintenance means I could not.

A very pleasant stay, very clean, very quiet, good breakfast and friendly staff. Our room, the cheapest available, was in the basement so we had no view and the free parking is a little remote from the hotel but this wasn’t an issue, we could load & unload & then move the car to the parking. There is no lift, not an issue to us.

No housekeeping services during our full period of stay ( 3 nights). Very disappointing as housekeeping is one of the reasons why we do not book Airbnb properties . Returning to a messy hotel room after a long day journey is just not , ideal. Please add housekeeping to future guests your property is very charming and staff members very helpful . Regards , Eddie

Upon arriving into the hotel room I was annoyed as pictures online didn't show that we would be booking a room with no actual window providing a view, instead there was a small cellar window with a painting of the sea, therfore the room had no view at all and felt really small. The room had dust which effected my hayfever but also the loud banging of doors in the morning and machine noise was awful to wake up too. The kettle in room often had black bits coming out of it which I didn't realise until my throat was hurting on our 3rd day. I'm annoyed and disappointed in my experience. However the good point was the polite lady at breakfeast, location and the outdoor look of the building. I don't think I would stay here again as the pictures were abit disciving online as to the views you get.

Flott og sjarmerende hotell med god beliggenhet. Hyggelig betjening og god frokost Var litt bekymret for parkeringa men det gikk fint å laste av og parkere et stykke nedenfor. Uheldigvis så var vi der under den varme perioden og det ble lite mulighet for å vandre i nærområdet
