The hotel is a replica of an ancient Suzhou villa and garden. It is a huge resort and offers many fun facilities. We visited the Han dynasty clothing experience center which lends one guest one free hour of Han dynasty ancient clothing to try out. That was a lot of fun and we shot many pics in the ancient garden. The manager was so nice and generous and offered 2 guests in our party of the same service. I heartily recommend this hotel.

Breakfast variety was good but local breakfast items were the best. Room was clean and comfortable with a good hairdryer which is important for me. Staff were great and I enjoyed the history of Suzhou by the Manager and his knowledge is great. I had a wonderful stay at Pan Pacific Suzhou. The room was modern, beautifully designed, and very clean, which made the entire stay feel incredibly comfortable and relaxing. The location was also a huge plus. It’s close to Panmen Gate and the gardens, and getting around was really easy. Everything felt convenient without being too busy. Overall, a great mix of comfort, design, and location. I’d definitely stay here again!

The hotel is build as a traditional Chinese style with modern amenities, very charming. We had a tower facing suite which is large, clean, and comfortable. The customers have access via a back door to an attraction, which is excellent. The hotel garden is well designed and pretty. We went to the hotel's Chinese restaurant for dinner and had breakfast at the hotel. We were not impressed by the food. You should be able to find better food outside.

The entire property had a vintage feel to it. Staff were great. Cleanliness was great and the bed was very comfortable. I did my photoshoot with the hotel’s photoshoot shop. The cheongsame were very well made, comfortable and pretty. The photographers were awesome, they made me smile naturally and the photographs were very well done. Highly recommended.

This property is a gem. It is build as part of an ancient courier station that has significant Chinese history. The park in the back lights up at night and provides a beautiful contrast with the bustling Suzhou. You get the same feel of the Venice-like town all to yourself. The hotel itself also has what you would expect of a 5star hotel with restaurants and various gyms/spa/family amenities. A must stay if you visit Suzhou!
