8/10 Good

Beautiful property. Great rooms. Staff was friendly and hospitable. Food could be better. I also wish staff was more attentive when your eating at the restaurant. You have to really flaf someone down if need anything.
Hannah, 2-night trip

8/10 Good

Beautiful location tucked away near Loch Leven. The rooms were a good size, however no fridge or safe. Facilities very good, nice swimming pool and sauna. We stayed 2 nights, but our room wasn’t cleaned or bed made. Beautiful was a good standard. Easy walking distance to and from pub and local store.
Kim, 2-night trip

6/10 Okay

This would be a four star review but for the mean spirited nature of hotel charging extra for item such as coffee for an included breakfast and insisting on guests using child sized plates at the buffet

So relaxing! Room had a great view of the Lake. Beds where very comfortable. Breakfast buffet had a huge variety of options. Place was very calm and gorgeous. Plenty of space to park. Service from staff was great too! Took a walk around the property in the morning, great views. I believe you can kayak but I was only there for the night.

Perfect place to stay when travelling with your dog. Very welcoming to dogs.
Patrick, 1-night trip

8/10 Good

The room was lovely, water was hot, beautiful view & staff were lovely. Be warned - if by any chance you need to cancel your reservation (with heaps of warning) the hotel will still charge the full fee & will therefore not allow any cancellation from the moment you book & pay
Michelle, 1-night trip

2/10 Terrible

Beautiful property. Service terrible. Check in was a nightmare, no one at the front desk and given keys without confirming if that was my room. Then someone came at 11:30pm to ask if my room had 3 beds or not. We al wanted to have breakfast and no one at restaurant land decided to leave, again waiting 15 min for check out
Roberto, 1-night trip

8/10 Good

Hotel not equipped for hot weather and high temperatures. There is no air conditioning in the hotel (admittedly not uncommon in the UK), however other ways to deal with heat was lacking. Windows only opened a sliver, and fans were dusty and outdated.
Sonia, 1-night trip

4/10 Poor

No moisturizer in bathroom and shower curtain stinks. Restaurant horrendous. Food bland service slow and rude
tamara, 1-night trip

10/10 Excellent

Amazing staff and charming hotel
brian, 1-night trip

8/10 Good

Location was great, right on the water looking out at islands. Convenient kayak & board rental next door. Food is so so. They have nice coffee machines for lattes, cappuccino’s, etc. and refuse to make them for guests for breakfast! They will only make them later in the day. Bar is good. This hotel is tired and needs a remodel. Walls are so thin the person sleeping in the room next to us woke us up by snoring.
Suzanne, 4-night trip

10/10 Excellent

Great facility and we enjoyed our room. Clean and tidy. Restaurant had great options and was delicious! Able to sit in the sunroom or indoors. Also can take a drink outside by the water if it’s nice. Some short walking paths around the water that are close by. Other than the hotel restaurant we ate at the Laroch in Ballachulish. This is a great location if you want to take on some of the longer hikes in GlenCoe. We kayaked on the Loch and saw a seal around the islands. Beautiful scenery.

I’d pass on this one

The area was beautiful, situated by the water. The room was small, the bed was like sleeping on the ground with rock pillows. Dinner in the restaurant was mediocre at best. Breakfast was fine. The staff was pleasant.
JODI, 1-night trip

8/10 Good

Nice.

Stayed one night at the hotel and enjoyed the sauna and pool after a day of hiking. The hotel is an older building with carpets that show their age and a few other quirks. The staff was extremely friendly and the area is walking distance to the bus station and grocery store. Would probably stay there again but expected a little more for the money. The included breakfast wasn’t that great, but did the trick.
