We were in one of the annex buildings that have not been renovated so a little tired. Some of our party were in the main hotel and these rooms are better. Could be better cleaned better, especially under furniture. Otherwise facilities good, kids loved the pool

10/10 Exceptional

I stay here for one night around four to six times a year with my two Chihuahuas while travelling between the UK and Scandinavia. The hotel only has two EV chargers, but I have always been able to charge my car during my stay. Dogs are welcome in the hotel, guest rooms, and outdoor areas, although they are not permitted in the restaurant or pub. The hotel is about 15 minutes from the motorway and roughly the same distance from Münster city centre, making it a convenient stopover. The staff are friendly and welcoming, especially if you make the effort to say a few words in German, although most speak good English as well. One thing to be aware of during the summer is that there are a lot of ticks in the surrounding area, so it's a good idea to check your dogs thoroughly several times after they've been outside.

6/10 Good

Location and grounds of the property were amazing, reception staff were very good however the room (430) was dated, had no air con fitted or even the offer of á room fan. PIllows filled with cotton wool and a mattress that was uncomfortable. In the current hot temperatures the only relief was to open the windows all night and the bedroom door in the evening. The room faced the car park and the busy main road was about 50m away. Not a great nights sleep and delivery trucks arriving from 06:00 resulted in the unwanted early wake up. Ate at the Hotel Restaurant, again a lovely location but this was spoiled by an unacceptable wait of over an hour from ordering our meal (in truth the meal was nothing to write home about). FIrst impressions impressive then a definite glide path to mediocrity.

We just stayed overnight as we were travelling by car from Paris to Stockholm. The hotel was very comfortable and the surroundings are fantastic. A very good breakfast - one of the best I've had. My daughter and family have also booked Parkhotel Hohenfeld in Munster when they travel to Sweden.

A very quaint, old-world, classy property with a nice breakfast. Our family suite was spacious and comfortable, perfect for traveling with kids. The only downside was the WiFi - the signal was either very weak or didn’t work at all. Otherwise, a pleasant and peaceful stay.

Check in was smooth and possible in person also for late arrival. Restaurant open until midnight. Conveniently close to highway but far enough to be quiet rural

Munster weekend

Stayed last year and was looking forward to a return visit. Came with my bike to cycle along the canal. The hotel, food, pool area and especially the service is superb. Will return. The hotel is set in peaceful grounds and that radiates across the whole experience.

It was a great stay. Whilst the room overall was good, we were met with plenty of active spiders and cobwebs. While cleaning that away, we discovered thick layers of dust on picture frames, behind the TV, and other places. If that can be tended to, then you have a great place.

- Check-in/out was smooth. - Room was clean and neat. Water cost 2 euro, which should be free of charge. And i missed a kettle in the room. - Parking area was to little. - Sauna was closed/not working when i arrived at 20:30. I expected it worked.

Really lovely hotel in a very peaceful and beautiful place. Lovely to eat lunch/dinner on the patio in the back looking out on the garden/forest. Nice to have a little swim in the pool as well after a long day driving. Nice rooms to. We stayed in a external bouilding, very cosy.

Quick and easy check-in with on property restaurants. A group of us stayed here to recover from jet lag and it was perfect for our short stay.

6/10 Good

The hotel has some nice aspects, but in our opinion, the overall experience did not quite live up to the standard we would expect from a 4-star property. There were a few things that could be improved, particularly when it comes to the level of service, attention to detail, and overall value for money. With a few improvements, the hotel could definitely offer a much better experience and better match the expectations that come with its 4-star rating.
