Clean room. Beds are horrible. Staff not friendly. Good location to downtown. Shower is awesome. Water is extremely hot. Unless you like coffeemate 1/2 and 1/2 or coffeemate not the place for coffee. Have stairs to the second floor, no elevators or amenities. Have an ice and pop machine. Price of pop and water expensive. If you are not fussy about where you stay or can not afford a different hotel, for a night this would work.

The property was fine, partially for the price point. I appreciated the pet friendly policy-- this was the first time my family stayed in a hotel with our dog. The room itself was essentially clean but somewhat dated. I raised two concerns with the staff - tv not working and toilet not flushing properly. Both were addressed in a timely fashion.

The staff were lovely and they opened the breakfast up early for the Ironman event (4am). However, the property needs better upkeep and cleaning. It was quite dirty and things are broken and falling apart. The smoking area is right by the door, dirty bucks of water by an entrance, dirty carpets and broken banisters. Our toilet kept breaking and there was no fan in the bathroom. They need a higher standard of cleanliness.

The Huntsville Econolodge was so great that I ended up staying a second night. The staff was friendly, the room was fantastic for the price, and it’s a convenient spot to stay if you’re checking out the local parks.

The breakfast was fine, the staff were helpful. What I found disappointing was they did not even come in to make the bed or change our dirty towels. . I talked to the front desk and they said they don’t do it because people don’t like staff coming into their room. I nave never heard of that before. The man at the front desk did come and change the towels at 1030 at night. Just seems strange to me. You don’t even come in to clean the garbage. Will think twice about going there again
