8/10 Very good

Clean and no frills pricing when you just want to

Very clean, basic no frills accommodations. Stayed there numerous times and have always been comfortable.

Exactly what we needed .

10/10 Exceptional

You can’t beat the price. It was clean and had all we were asking for. If you are okay with a simple room at a great price, this is perfect. The front desk is so friendly and welcoming too.

Great price, ultra clean and fresh, basic- no frills accomodations.... Definitely would stay here again when passing thru.

Clean place, comfy beds for $50. I would stay here again if I was in the area
Chase, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

Would definitely stay again

First it was very clean! The gentleman running it was very nice! Very reasonable, and the original reason we chose it was it's pet friendly. Which we really appreciate.
Tammy, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

Clean property and lot of parking
ISABELLE, 1-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

No frills but very clean.

Stayed here many times, very clean, cozy basic rooms at a very good price for travelers on the move. It's no frills, but worth it off the beaten path.
1-night trip

8/10 Very good

Only complaint was it wasn’t very warm inside
Robert, 1-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Yup, stay here

Don is a sweetheart that is patient and kind to his guests. The room was very comfortable for the price point. The only thing missing is a bath mat towel. Would absolutely stay again if passing through little Newell.
Jessica, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

The best thing about the town was the youth rodeo. The worst thing was the town's emergency whistle blowing in the wee hours of the morning. Finally someone turned it off. The best thing about the motel was the price. The room was small and the beds were not very good. The refrigerator and microwave worked. There were several several dead and/or missing light bulbs. There were no chairs nor any place for our belongings but the floor. One bed covered the closet opening so nothing could be put in there either.
Jim, 1-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

I stepped on a thistle….that sucked! Watch out! Nice little quiet place.
Nathan, 2-night trip

6/10 Good

Quick stop

We were there for a wedding and needed a place to sleep. Not a vacation spot. Just a bed. No cable or tv.
Shawn, 1-night trip

2/10 Poor

Totaly a zero star hotel.

Everything about the room was a disaster.
Joe, 1-night trip

Dirty, not very secure.

Off the beaten path Newell is a town of about 600 people. So not much to offer. Check in was ok, they had reservations & that it was prepaid. Room extremely small. Air conditioning window type did cool the room. Flies & mosquitoes in the room. Couldn’t get TV to turn on (maybe just me). Did have warm water & small refrigerator that worked.
William, 1-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Always clean and friendly
Frank, 1-night trip

Very nice little place you can see the time and effort that he has put into setting the rooms up and making them as efficient as possible

Looks arent everything

At first glance the motel looks old but once in the roon the beds were comfortable and the place was clean. The owner greeted us with a handshake and was very friendly. Don't be dissuaded by the outside appearance because its the inside that counts.

Great Place

nice place, older but well cared for served me very well. The Manager is very acomidating.
Joseph, 2-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

small small town, nice little bar, units are older but nicely redone. No complaints
MICHAEL, 1-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Stayed three night for sturgis rally and a group of us ftom az and oh rented the entire 8 rooms. If you want to be away from everything and in a quiet community, this is the place. What a great find and Don was the best host. Thank you Don for everything, may our parhs cross again in the future!
Suzanne, 3-night trip

2/10 Poor

We had reservations. The website says open 24/7. We got in late because we got lost. Knocked. Rang the doorbell. Called. Left a VM with my phone number. Called a second time. No response. A week later not even the courtesy of a call back. I prepaid so I couldn't even cancel. Worst experience I've ever had with a hotel. I want my money back but they won't respond.
