What a wonderful surprise when we opened our door to find a jetted hot tub in our room. The room was quaint and comfortable, clean and quiet. We enjoyed a good soak in the tub and then slept like babies. The neighborhood was very quiet, despite being near a convenience store. We also had a fireplace which added to the ambiance of the cottage.

Nice and cozy Gas fireplace Microwave and mini fridge and coffee maker And a heater , unfortunately it got cold and I used the heater , at times it was making weird sounds that interrupted my sleep. Staff was easy to reach via text Neighbor was playing some techno music every night between 9-11 pm but only like 2-3 songs !!

Staff and location was excellent. The shower and hot tub could have used a wipe down but other than that I would definitely stay again.

I would definitely would recommend this spot for couples. Love the quiet atmosphere. They had a double shower. Which is perfect for couples. close drive to everything we need(groceries, shop, restaurants). The only down side I have is that it’s near then main highway so you hear the traffic.

No on site staff, check in was via a website. I never saw a single staff member during my stay. Room was very clean, the place was super quiet. Only 1 other guest was seen at adjoining cabin. Place had a 70s vibe but everything worked as expected and room was very large compared to others in this price point. Property does not have AC so don't suggest staying here in summer, but other times of year it's lovely. Place has more of an air B-N-B feel. I did not use hot tub. It is right in the corner of the room. I would book again.

Cozy little cottage centrally located in Big Bear. Plenty of hot water for the shower and hot tub. Plenty of room to lounge around. Except for the bathroom, the floors were a little dirty. The kitchenette could use some upgrading; a two burner stove top would make meal prep easier. The check in process is all virtual. Personally, I would prefer a human touch with having an on-site manager. Other than that, I would stay here again and recommend this property. The rates were very reasonable.

This was our first time staying at Cathy's Cottages, and although there were a few minor things we would have liked it was an overall great stay. The room was clean, they offer all the amenities, and the fireplace as well as the tub was the absolute best. We used the tub each night and it made the whole trip worth it while having the foreplace on. It was relaxing and just agreat experience. Check in and out was seamless and all info provided ahead of time. We will definitely be returning.
