I could almost excuse it because of the very low price, but after travelling around Cyprus and staying in 3-star hotels within the same price range, this place is honestly shocking. The facilities are awful! Everything is worn out, damaged or poorly patched up. The location is terrible, there is absolutely no comfort, the shower water barely trickles out, and the air conditioning does not work properly. On top of that, they charge 9€ just to give you access to an additional AC unit. If I hadn’t been travelling alone, I would never have stayed at this hotel. I strongly recommend avoiding this place. For just 5–10€ more per night, there are countless options that are infinitely better in every respect.

Advertising states aircon available in the room’. Yes it is available but not able to be used unless you pay extra. When it becomes intolerable there is no one to get the control from. Satellite tv again have to pay extra for the remote. Let’s see if we get the same stock answer as other comments.

5 nights stand.

Really friendfull staff but eweryone of them couldn´t speak so much English. Hotel is in good place near citycenter and the beach. In toilet I found ants and in the corridor there was a dead cockroach. Good place if you need only place where to sleep.

This hotel needs major rennovation

This hotel facilities were probably never renovated since it was build (I guess back in the early 80's). The room was old, with an old fitted carpet and a funny smell. The same holds for the halls and dining rooms. The wifi access was very intermittent albeit having an access point outside the room. Bathroom was clean but very dark. No outside window. No refrigerator, and use of the air condition costs additional EUR 5 per day. Nevertheless, the staff was very friendly and helpful.

Horrible hotel experience in Cyprus

My worst hotel experience in Cyprus. Refused to give me the air conditioner remote in August Cyprus heat even though I payed for it. Refused to even see my confirmation. Yelled and screamed that his hotel is not charity. The door from inside does not lock..anyone with key can enter while you're inside sleeping. Balconies are next to each other...next door visitor can easily jump and come. Found a lizard in room. Could hear everything next door. Not quiet..slamming doors...owner aggressive and very angry and kept complaining about guests. Halls, and carpet dirty. Only thing good was location but there are others nearby much more comfortable. Pool looked dirty. Left after one night, even though I payed for two. Had to contact authorities.

Don't go.. Bad experience. Cons First thing at reception: we didn't receive a a "welcome, how are you" but the guy at the reception, probably the owner, asked us in a rude way how did i find this very low price and that probably the hotels.com had wrong prices.!!!!! (actually the €40 without breakfast were too much for the specific hotel) We Couldn't use in comfort the swimming pool because a wedding arrangement was set up around the pool. No parking available because of the wedding. The hotel is very old. No fridge in the room. No shampoo or shower gel in the room. There were mattresses on the stairs. Good The lovely staff child that drived us to the room

Very basic hotel. Very old decor, looks like hasn't been updated since the 70s/80s. That doesn't bother me too much but this is a very basic hotel. No restaurant, no bar, no life. In a decent location though, walking distance to everything in central Polis. Shower bracket was broken in shower so had to hold shower head in 1 hand whilst showering. Turns out this is the same in most rooms as everyone else in our group had same issue! Air conditioning not great, 1 setting (on) with no temperature control. Centrally controlled. Customer service was quite poor though. Man on reception very unorganised and quite rude at check in. When one of our group made a complaint they received a very rude and inappropriate response. Wouldn't stay again.

Absolutely awful! Do not stay here!

The room was dirty and outdated, no electrical points were working, tiles broken in the bathroom, stained carpets and mattresses, no where to keep your belongings safe. In the morning I was told I was only allowed a coffee instead of a morning buffet which I think, I was lucky as Breakfast was shocking! Filthy cutlery, cups and tables. Staff were rude and unwelcoming and hardly spoke any English. Their trusted taxi service took me 45mins in the wrong direction and left me in a random village in Cyprus as I wasn't making any sense apparantly - even though he was the one who couldn't talk English! Well thanks to them I was then lost for two hours and only just made it to my brothers wedding! I regret staying here! I lasted two nights and moved on as it was such a bad experience! I wish I paid that little bit more for a higher rated hotel. I wouldn't recommend anyone to stay here or even in the town of Polis. Never again will I visit this hotel, that town or country. It's disgusting the way they treat you as a holiday maker.

Δυστυχώς, η διαμονή μας στο ξενοδοχείο δεν ήταν καθόλου ικανοποιητική. Κατά τη γνώμη μας, το ξενοδοχείο χρειάζεται αρκετή ανακαίνιση και βελτιώσεις. 1. Το νερό στο μπάνιο δεν είχε καθόλου καλή πίεση, κάτι που έκανε το μπάνιο αρκετά δύσκολο. 2. Το κρεβάτι δεν ήταν ιδιαίτερα άνετο και οι κουβέρτες δεν ήταν στην καλύτερη κατάσταση. 3. Οι πετσέτες ήταν αρκετά σκληρές και δεν έδιναν την αίσθηση καθαριότητας και άνεσης που περιμένεις από ένα ξενοδοχείο. 4. Στην κράτησή μας αναγραφόταν ότι περιλαμβανόταν πρωινό, όμως τελικά δεν υπήρχε πρωινό. Επίσης, το κλιματιστικό αναφερόταν στην κράτηση, αλλά τελικά χρειάστηκε να πληρώσουμε επιπλέον 9€ για τη χρήση του, κάτι που θεωρήσαμε απαράδεκτο, ειδικά από τη στιγμή που παρουσιαζόταν ως παροχή της κράτησης. 5. Η πισίνα είχε υπερβολικά έντονη μυρωδιά χλωρίου, σε σημείο που ήταν δυσάρεστο να κολυμπήσεις. Επιπλέον, το bar της πισίνας ήταν κλειστό. 6. Το χειρότερο περιστατικό ήταν με την πόρτα του δωματίου. Το χερούλι από την εσωτερική πλευρά ήταν σπασμένο και, όταν κλείσαμε την πόρτα, δεν μπορούσαμε να την ανοίξουμε από μέσα. Αναγκαστήκαμε να χτυπάμε την πόρτα για να μας ακούσει κάποιος και να μας ανοίξει απ’ έξω. Αυτό ήταν ιδιαίτερα ανησυχητικό και απαράδεκτο από άποψη ασφάλειας. Συνολικά, δυστυχώς η εμπειρία μας ήταν πολύ κακή και δεν θα επιλέγαμε ξανά το συγκεκριμένο ξενοδοχείο. Χρειάζεται αρκετές βελτιώσεις και ανακαίνιση, καθώς και καλύτερη συντήρηση των εγκαταστάσεων.

Το υπνοδωμάτιο είναι σχετικά καλό για τα λεφτά που δίνεις. Είναι άνετο, έχει δύο κρεβάτια και τηλεόραση. Έχε επίσης μικρό μπαλκόνι με τραπεζάκι ικαι δύο καρέκλες. Το ξενοδοχείο βρίσκεται κοντά στο κέντρο (700 μέτρα) αλλά σε πολύ ήσυχη γειτονιά. Προσφέρει δωρεάν άνετο χώρο στάθμευσης. Πολύ κοντά υπάρχει υπεραγορά και καφετέρια. Μια μικρή παρεξήγηση που υπήρξε για τον κλιματισμό λύθηκε γρήγορα. Σίγουρα για τα λεφτά που δίνεις μην περιμένεις ψυγείο στο δωμάτιο. Δεν υπάρχει καθημερινός καθαρισμόςτου δωματίου αλλά άδειασμα του καλαθιού του μπάνιου και λίγο συγύρισμα. Δεν προσφέρεται καθόλου πρόγευμα (ούτε επί πληρωμής). Στο υπνοδωματίο τα στρώματα χρειάζονται αντικατάσταση. Όσον αφορά το μπάνιο χρειάζεται πλήρη ανακαίνιση και αντικατάσταση των πάντων. Το Ξενοδοχείο την εποχή που κτίστηκε φαίνεται να ήταν πολύ καλό (έχει πισίνα και γήπεδο τένις, επίσης είχε καφετέριες και εστιατόρια), όμως είναι κρίμα διότι αφέθηκε στον χρόνο χωρίς ανακαίνιση.

Ancien hôtel

Ancien hotel mais ça reste fonctionnel, tout est vieux à l'intérieur. Il y a bien une climatisation mais je ne l'ai pas allumé. Niveau insonorisation c'est la catastrophe, j'entendais mon voisin ronfler. Moquette pas très propre, grande piscine agréable, je n'ai pas pris de petit-déjeuner. Parking privé, l'hôtel est à 10mn a pied du centre-ville. Pour 1 nuit ça passe si vous avez le choix ailleurs alors ne réserver pas cet hotel. J ai payé 54e pour fin août pour 1 personne.
