We recently visited friends at Bon Echo and basically used the room as a place to sleep. It was great for this. Rooms were sufficient size for my wife and I and our two kids, beds were comfy and bathroom was clean. The office manager was very kind and eager to please and you can tell she is working hard to rebuild the reputation of the Inn from past owners. If you are looking for a good room with decent beds to sleep in while you visit the parks and lakes of the area than this is a good place.

This place was very old but newly renovated. Fresh paint and laminate floors goes along way. Their systems was not updated and I paid twice. I prepaid on Expedia using all my points and paid several weeks before arrival. But upon arrival they said I needed to pay them more money. We could not get our room until we paid. I message Expedia And complained. I was hoping Expedia would refund what I paid on-site. Instead they refunded me what I prepaid. I really wanted to use my points and pay less. Overall this place was good, clean, and hot shower. This restaurant was good with great prices.

This is a good budget option only about 10 minutes from the entrance to Bon Echo Provincial Park. The rooms are comfortable and a decent size. Be aware the hotel restaurant is not open every day, and that the nearest other restaurant is a 15 minute drive; the gas station across the street has some basics but not a ton. I suggest bringing your own breakfast supplies.

We were visiting family. The Inn was perfect for us. Very clean, and friendly staff. The restaurant was not open but there was a coffee shop in the gas station across the street that served fresh coffee to go, doughnuts, bagels, etc. We would certainly book again…a short drive to some very nice towns like Madoc and Sterling which are worth a visit.

Lakeside Inn is a quiet property, not on the lake vut located close to Bon Echo. Rooms are basic but have been recently updated and our room was very clean. Bed was comfortable enough, a/c in room noisy but efficient. Mini fridge and microwave as well in our room was nice feature. Staff are friendly and helpful. Good place for a night or 2!
