Hotel Thermal has an impeccable location. The room was clean, comfortable. The staff is professional, friendly. The wellness and the outdoor thermal pool are perfect. Tasty and varied food is a matter of course here. We will be happy to come back.

Zusagen werden nicht eingehalten, zusätzliche Gebühren ohne Absprache oder Kenntnis einfach bei Abreise in Rechnung gestellt. Wellnessbereich teilweise nicht zugänglich, hoteleigene Disko zeitweise geschlossen obwohl eigentlich damit geworben wird. Auf Nachfrage wird keine qualifizierte Antwort gegeben, Hotelpersonal wirkt oft überfordert, Zimmerausstattung renovierungsbedürftig. Hotelanlage insgesamt nicht zu empfehlen.

Die Hotelzimmer sind zweckmäßig und völlig ausreichend. Der Stadtblick aus einen der höheren Etagen ist fantastisch. Beim Frühstück vermisse ich Brot oder Brötchen für Gluten Allergiker. Ansonsten ist Karlsbad immer eine Reise wert.

Nettes Hotel, sauberes Zimmer, leckeres Essen und ausgesprochen nettes Personal. Der Zugang zum Thermalbad ist auf jeden Fall als plus Punkt erwähnenswert. Die Lage vom Hotel ist für Spaziergänge im Zentrum von Karlsbad ideal. Alles in allem waren wir positiv überrascht (die Vorurteile "Ostblock = Servicewüste" waren auf jeden Fall da😁) und mit unserem Aufenthalt sehr zufrieden.

Der Brutalismus ist nicht mein Stil.

Bei der kürzlichen Renovierung 2021 hätten die Innenarchitekten sich bewusst sein müssen, dass ein cremefarbener Teppich für Hotels ungeeignet ist. Also, bleibende Flecken auf dem Teppich sind nicht einladend und dann passt der Preis auch nicht mehr. Ebenso wirkt eine Glasplatte auf dem Beistelltisch geklebt nur attraktiv, wenn diese nicht gesprungen ist. Vielmehr hätte man sich aber auf die Schallentkopplung der Räume (hier: Superior Suite) konzentrieren können, so hört man leider den Nachbarn bei den Gesprächen zu. Ansonsten soweit in Ordnung, aber der Preis passt trotz des inkludierten Wellnessbereiches nicht. Die Architektur des Gebäudes (Baustil: Brutalismus) erregt sicherlich seit 50 Jahren die Gemüter, meins ist es nicht. Passt einfach nicht in den Ort. Mein Vorschlag: Rückbau, Neubau! Allgemein haben die Architekten sich damals keine Gedanken über die Benutzung gemacht, weil man sich extrem verirren kann, wenn man sich aufmacht den Wellnessbereich zu finden. Und der ist wirklich nicht so dolle. Bunkeratmosphäre und ein merkwürdiger Geruch in der Luft. Die Saunabereiche und das Theremalbecken gegenüber, dass man begrenzt bzw. stark vergünstig mitbenutzen kann, ist aber sehr angenehm und da passt auch das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.

Einmal Hotel Termal - Immer Hotel Thermal ...... obwohl schon oft in sehr guten Hotels in Karlsbad . ... als die Badelandschaft noch nicht rekonstruiert war .... aber nun Innen u Außen Bademöglichkeiten , sogar im abgetrennten Beckenteil mit Heißem Sprudel.... mit vielen Saunen .... also nix für Wasserscheue ...... !!!
