Hotel is a little dated ( sunchairs could do with a refresh) but overall the service is 5 star and the rooms were comfortable and clean with good walking distance to centre of town - be aware it is uphill though so if you have mobility issues not the best choice

Excellent Tritone

Great hotel. The owner is in residence and keeps the standard very high indeed. Spotless rooms with balconies. Jet tub in bathroom was really good. Staff were delightful. There’s a wellness centre too and the massage is excellent and fairly priced. Highly recommended.

Pretty spot, up on a hill.

Hotel itself is beautiful. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The pool is fantastic. The only downside is that it is pretty isolated. There’s really no options for dinner unless you walk to town. It’s a short walk down, but I wouldn’t want to walk back up the hill during the hot afternoon. We stayed in town until dark and the walk back, after dinner was pleasant.

8/10 Very good

We stayed a week in this hotel. We selected it because of its quiet location, yet only ca 12 minutes walk to the center or port All staff were very friendly and helpful, except the head waiter (or maitre d' ?) at dinner time who was short tempered , unfrienly, rude. From there on we ate at other places in town. Breakfast buffet offered more variety than most other Italian hotels. Our room was comfortable, equipped with everything we needed, including bath robes. Nice balcony with view of the ocean. There was a bit of a shortage of hot water at times when other guests took showers, not a big thing. The pool was refreshing, the jets only last ca 30 seconds , then one had to push the button again. Overall we were glad to have selected hotel Tritone.
