6/10 Good

My friend & I were given a double, although i assumed i booked twin beds. We was given a different room with twin rooms and told we'd have a different room the next day because the internet was poor there. So in theory within 24 hours of arrival we were in a 3rd room.
The final room had its problems with only 2 plug sockets, high up the wall, not ideal for charging phones with short cables. Not sure with so many English tourists why Turkish hotels have TVs with no English channels.
The air con was very good and easy to use. However, mosquitos would love the taste of our fat flesh and at night the blanket was neither big enough or comfortable to fully cover the bed. I had to sleep under the duvet the last 2 nights because the blanket felt like a straw bag. When you have been eaten alive by mosquitos you dont need that rubbing on your skin.
The photo is of me under the door to the toilet. Im just under 6ft and i lost track of how many times i headbutted this in the night. I frequently headbutted the corner of the shower cubible, which wasnt high enough.
The staff were nice, although the woman who greeted us spoke as much English as my Turkish. Google Translate became our mutual friend. There was a lobby and outside area we could relax in.
It was a terrible start but many things were ironed out quickly. I was intending to give this an appalling rating, but if you use this as a base and dont spent too much in your room, for the moneys it's ok
