Loved having a balcony. Could have sat there all day watching the ships, barges and train all day long. Air conditioning would have been nice but with the door open it was fine.

I was in a double room overlooking the Rhein, with a balcony, though if leaving the door to the balcony open it did get a little noisy, though I probably wouldn't have noticed it had I not been travelling solo. There was a small fridge in the room suitable for cooling drinks, storing medication etc. There was no kettle, though to be fair I didn't ask for one either - so they may be available? Housekeeping undertaken on a daily basis. The hotel entrance is directly opposite the kiosk for the Lorely Line - short river trips, with some commentary in German, English and Chinese (on the trip I took). A typical buffet breakfast available. All of the staff I had contact with were very pleasant and helpful. The hotel is a short walk from the station - around half a mile - took me 10 minutes (in either direction) with a significant lung complaint reducing my stamina.

The hotel and room are very clean, in a beautiful old building so not all rooms are the same. Free breakfast was amazing, so many choices and all fresh delicious food. Friendly staff and also really good deals on steins, beer glasses and some jewelry in the lobby. Right on the waterfront with many excellent restaurants, a beautiful walkway and lots of river trip opportunities right across the street!

Loved this cozy, retro hotel right on the river. Our room was spacious and comfortable with a huge modern bathroom. Splurge for a balcony with a view of the Rhine. Een beetje vergane glorie. Ongezellige, donkere kamer, Pluspunt balkon aan de Rheinpromenade. Geen terras en ‘s Avonds 4-gangen menu. Veel te duur en veel te veel voor mij. Ik heb buiten de deur gegeten. Genoeg restaurants met mooie terrassen aan de boulevard. Vriendelijk personeel, receptie vaak onbemand. Kreeg een ticket voor gratis toegang museum en vrij ov, maar er rijden geen bussen in Boppard. Je moet eigen vervoer hebben, want het station is ver lopen, alles bergop.
