Have stayed at this hotel a few times. Always lovely with friendly staff. Great location for city centre First morning we were woken early by building work next door. Asked at reception if we could move to a room on the other side of the hotel for our second night and Tom very kindly moved us and upgraded us to a bigger room which we hadnt expected.

6/10 Good

The room was a decent size with comfortable beds but clearly showed signs of wear and tear from the past decade. It felt tired and unkept and there was a noticeable mould problem in some areas in the bathroom. We didn’t have enough time to explore much of the hotel and skipped breakfast. There are plenty of lovely cafes in Bristol for a better price :)

Friendly staff. Only one lift operating, long waits. Insufficient staff in breakfast room, so shortages. Comfortable bedroom, some bedding less so. Pricey parking for overnight stay.

Approx 12 min walk to Hippodrome theatre. Staff are excellent, helpful and polite. We parked there £20 per day. Used electric charger but it did cut out before it should have - fortunately we had enough for our journey.
