Hotel in a great location, relatively spacious rooms, excellent breakfast, courteous and helpful staff, the only downside is that there is a bell that rings once every fifteen minutes and every hour on the hour it rings and plays for a long time and all this until midnight, this is information I would like to know in advance.

Clean room, comfy bed, friendly staff, great location. When we were there, some hotel staff all over Oslo were striking. So we didn’t get cleaning, new towels, etc. (not hotel’s fault) The few staff in reception was very friendly and helpful. And despite city wide strike we had no issues and our room was clean and we could check in early Also perfect location if you’re exploring Oslo with just a few minutes walk from Nationaltheatre station (which you can get to/from airport).

Front door to room does not automaticly lock when you leave the room and close the door ? You have to hold your keycard to the cardreader when leaving the room for it to lock, This is different from all other hotels in the world and I did not know (staff don't tell you), so I basicly left my room open while being out during the day - with laptop, passport etc. free for anyone to take. Another thing is that the iron at the room is basicly useless, It is a cheap plastic iron that does not get very warm - so it is impossible to iron a shirt. With this said the hotel is fine, breakfast is good, location is good and staff is helpful.

My stay at the Scandic Victoria was great, it fit my needs for my 2 night stay. From its great location to the staff, my experience at the hotel was amazing. The hotel is on the older side and the gym is on the smaller side. Additionally, you need to tap your card on the door scanner of your room in order to lock it otherwise it won’t lock. Still, I’d very much recommend this hotel to someone if they were planning on staying in Oslo.
