We really enjoyed our stay at Oaks Cable Beach. The location is great, just a short walk to cafe and eateries. Room was great with all we needed and more. Pool and BBQ area also really nice. Staff very helpful also.

When we booked the room we asked for a simple and normal request that was missed. We were not notified of the renovations prior to the booking. On arrival to the room the bedroom window had no secure lock. Plenty of signs stating that you lock your windows and doors yet we could not. We notified reception but they shrugged their shoulder and did not acknowledge the issue. We had to use a coat hangar to secure the window. Also the safe was not operational. We had to contact reception 3 times for this issue to be fixed. Again there are many signs staying secure your items if you leave your room. Cleanliness was good, it’s a bit dated now with the furniture.

we really enjoyed our stay at the resort. The Apartment style rooms with sitting and dining areas separate to the bedroom was exactly as hoped. The staff we spoke to were extremely friendly, helpful but largely apologetic, there just didn't seem to be enough of them. We stayed over Easter weekend and all services had been stripped back. Combining the two rooms we had, the bed was made up just once in eight nights and the resort ran out of pool (and other towels) on easter Monday, this led to us having to use and launder the bathroom towels provided in the room ourselves. Not a good look and completely avoidable. Unless the issue of fully staffing the property during public holidays is addressed, I would not stay here during those periods.
