Loved our stay here. The converted prison was such an authentic experience without taking away from the luxury feel you want from a hotel stay. Nice comfy beds. Loved the prison yard which was the brassiere gardens a lovely sun trap for drinks.

The hotel exceeded my expectations. They have done an excellent job of providing comfortable rooms while maintaining the character of the prison. The double cell room I had was a large room with a comfortable bed and with ample storage for a suitcase. The breakfast was excellent with the hot items cooked fresh to order.

Very comfortable, quiet room in the 'House of corrections'. Excellent nights sleep in comfy bed. Great large shower. Good selection of drinks on the courtesy tray. Super stylsh, unique hotel, conveniently placed just 5-10 mins walk from Oxford train station and 5 minutes from nearest shops & restaurants. Quality of breakfast ingredients was very good, althugh I did receive baked beans despite saying I didn't want any, and the full English Breakfast was not very warm.

We had a lovely one night stay in this quirky hotel. Only downside was room was too warm. When I asked at the desk was told they can only cool so much because of age of building. Other guest areas cool just bedroom. Be helpful to warn guests and maybe supply a fan? Otherwise excellent stay. Breakfast delicious.
