Checking in after a long day of travelling from Quebec City & doing the biodome with 2 small kids in crazy hot weather. The card did not work, I had to go back down to the front desk FIVE times! The first gentleman at the front desk was very kind and apologetic, but after the 4th trip up and down and still couldn’t get in our room. My two young boys (3 & 6) were restless, fidgety and fighting each other by this point. The whole family was tired and hungry. The kind front desk man didn’t know what to do, so he went to get another employee, I’m assuming was a supervisor or manager. I was obviously frustrated by this point, I was not rude, I didn’t not yell or anything but I mentioned being frustrating. The employee was so unbelievably rude and condescending right off the bat. Did not apologize but started accusing me of « demagnetizing the cards », I asked if he wanted to come up & try it with me where he snapped back rudely « NO, I DON’T ». At one point he told me to calm down when I was simpIy talking. Unbelievable how he was speaking to me. I wanted to leave & go to another hotel. Went back up after he « fixed » the card. IT STILL DID NOT WORK!! When I went back down yet again, his attitude was a total 360. He was all apologetic now, offered the kids to pick free treats, put us in a different room. I would NEVER go back to this hotel simply because of how rude this employee was. I’ve been to many hotel all over and this is by far the rudest service I’ve ever had!
